I am the kind of person who is very punctual and if I needed to be late for my appointments I'd let them know in advance. A couple days ago, I went there at 12 o'clock for my 12:15 appointment. I happily waited in the lobby for 15 minutes since it was me who got there early. Then when I was escorted to the room, I waited, and waited and waited.... while I could hear the doctor and staff in the other room chatting and giggling with another patient. At 12:35 I decided to leave the room. I apologized to one of the staff outside in the lobby for leaving, but having me wait this long was absolutely unacceptable. I thought I'd get a call from the office to apologize for how I was treated the last time but no, I was so mistaken. Nobody reached out with an apology whatsoever. I am extremely disappointed with this service. I genuinely liked everybody there, but when my time is treated like garbage then you're not worth my time and money. Won't be going there again. I never ever had to wait for my appointments like the way they make you wait there. Better be a walk in clinic. P.S: appointment was March 25th. They only called on April 1st. He did some very quick corrections, without a thorough evaluation. When I told him that things still felt off, he said he said I should wait 24 hours and he would correct me for free if things still felt bad. 24 hours later, my pain was much worse, so I called his office and discovered he is always closed on Friday. Perhaps he just forgot his office hours? I ended up finding a different chiropractor who figured out that the initial problem was caused by the muscle activation session putting one of my muscles into spasm. Then, the rough correction made things much worse. I’ve seen the new chiropractor a couple times and I’m getting better, but not yet back to how I was pre-correction. Overall, I definitely had some relief during the few sessions I saw Dr. Geck. However, he is often in a rush and doesn’t seem to be very careful or precise with his corrections. It was a burning pain and I could not stand to have the sheets touch my feet. I had taken a nerve medication and had some unpleasant side effects. I had also been taking oxycodone for the hip pain, but ended up taking it for the neuropathy pain. The response from both my surgeon and primary care doctor was either to take a nerve pill or continue the oxycodone. I continued the oxycodone, but it is an opiate and can be addictive. I really wanted to be off of it. I found out about Restorative Wellness on Facebook when I saw a posting regarding neuropathy. I contacted them and scheduled a consultation. I was impressed with their knowledge of neuropathy. I underwent some simple tests and learned it could be treated in a natural way. There were a lot of factors involved: changing diet, chiropractic visits, special supplements, foot massages, and equipment to use at home. After a month in the program, I was able to go off the oxycodone, I was sleeping better, and the pain was greatly lessened in my feet.
