Thursday March 7th my husband and I called into Roberts RV World. We are looking to buy a Motorhome. We walked around the showroom for at least 15mins. We were very disappointed that NO sales staff came to speak to us. They lost a sale because we really liked the Esperance.

Very happy with our Avida Escape, and with the service provided by Roberts RV World. It's easy to drive, safe and comfortable, and we are able to get to more hikes further afield and to explore the country. And it looks great. We did order the van during The Time of Covid and were inevitably hit by long delays due to supply chain issues (notably delivery of the chassis) but the team at Roberts RV World, James in particular, did a good job of keeping us in the loop and enthusiastic while we waited. Very disappointing so far we have had our Esperance less than 12 months, hasn't done more than 15000 km, used iveco 24 hour assist 3 times , not satisfactory, motorhome off road now for 3 months and no response from roberts rv world WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Buying with confidence is tough, I don't know a great deal about cars, let alone motorhomes! When I spoke to the staff at Roberts RV World, I felt like they genuinely got to know me and my needs for a vehicle. It didn't feel like they were just trying to get me into a sales process at all costs. I felt taken care of and can honestly say that when I do buy a vehicle, it will be through them!

The Longreach ticked all the boxes. We spent the next 12 months visiting Avida dealers as we travelled the country. That was when we met Haydn. Now, he’s a good bloke. Honest and knowledgeable. Haydn did a good deal for us & while our Longreach was delayed (as everything is) we loved collecting it ~12 months ago. We’ve had a few little hiccups along the way which Robert’s RV have rectified for us. We’ve been back several times and will now confidently give a big shoutout to Stuart as Service Manager (he’s a really good guy as well) Bec in Service reception is very helpful & efficient. I can’t miss Vanessa, she is a gem. Richard the manager is a top bloke and very approachable. Go to Roberts RV. They have done very well for us. Notwithstanding the current industry difficulties. Haydn is the man to buy from, and if he’s busy, see Margaret as she’s on the ball as well. We are very happy with Robert’s. I then took this up with the owner who wasn't only dismissive but actually called me a liar. I have had several mechanical/trades issues with it since which have been fixed under warranty, but its the hassle of having to stop doing what you are doing and go out of your way to get it fixed. Would I buy another one, probably not, certainly not from Roberts RV world. I must add that where I have had the issues fixed have been nothing short of fabulous. We had our slide out fixed and the roof resealed. Richard and Stuart insured the problems that needed fixing were fixed. They also identified an issue with an ants nest in our aircon.

Job completed quickly on a Saturday morning - tho excuses about inavailability to certify due to their approved gasfitter not being available. Sadly we spoke with the only lady sales person there and she was the rudest lady I’ve ever come across. She told us ‘we are just the dealer, not the manufacturer. It is what it is.’ And that was that, she didn’t want to engage in any conversation about things we could do or options etc, she was clearly just there to sell vans, never mind existing customers. We weren’t complaining in any way just looking for ideas and hoping they might have the insight to offer some suggestions. Very disappointed to say the least! Less

Was not very impressed at all. Salespeople were very inexperienced and the Manager Haden was rude, obnoxious and very unprofessional. We left and visited Avan just down the road and were treated professionally and polite and bought our Motor home from there. Would not recommend Roberts RV World to anyone.

Wholeheartedly agree with you Jenny. Ongoing dispute with them about a $876 out of pocket expense due to their incompetence, going on for about 2 months now. Avida Customer Service representations on our behalf has amounted to nothing. Now we are putting in the hands of Lawyers and the Dept of Consumer Affairs. Robert's RV, "Buyer Beware". Strongly suggest Avida review there Vic distributor.

We bought our Longreach around 3 years ago from Roberts RV, and we've it serviced there since. They're a great bunch of hard working people, and I'd gladly recommend them to someone looking to purchase a Winnebago or Avida.

Service dep do not return calls ,it's been over a week

Called in on Saturday to have a browse- they are open until 5.30, NOT closed. Lots of motorhomes on display, friendly, helpful non-pushy staff. We'll be back when we're looking seriously.

Lots of new & used motorhomes so it’s well worth a look, especially the Avida products. Ask for Margaret if she’s still there or Peter.
