The knowledgable coaching staff are awesome, got me up to speed so I could participate in the classes after completing the fundamentals program. The members welcomed me with open arms. Friendly group of trainers and clients. Excellent instruction in how to perform the exercises safely. There is a diverse group of ages and fitness levels here, and assistance from the trainers so each person can adapt the workout to their abilities and needs.

So far its been great - I really enjoy having the coaching sessions - its super helpful for those of us who need extra coaching on form and process. Staff are super warm and friendly and workouts are great!

Get a bit of everything at this gym. If you want to be pushed there’s coaches at this place that will do that for you! If you’re not ready for that coaches will guide you to spot to be there. They also know how to do that with giving your space by really understanding your goals and abilities! Great groups to train with morning all the way to the evening! As a total noob with regards to strength and fitness training (apart from running), my Fundamentals course at FVF was excellent. Coach T was patient with me, and insistent on correct form and movement, which is what I wanted for my first venture into such training. I am looking forward to regular training in the classes as I begin my regular membership.

If you want to gym that has trainers that are dialled in with form, this is the one.

Best place to workout. If you ever feel or felt out of place in a fitness centre then you have been going to the wrong place. During COVID-19 I tried to exercise by myself in my basement and now that I'm back at Forge Valley the difference is striking. Worth every penny, the programing has long term goals. There is a really great group of people training, and working out there I thought I was in decent shape when I joined. It was a bit of a shock to realize how much I had to learn, relearn and how far I had to go. You definitely don’t get this training on your own. The coaches pay close attention and are always providing helpful feedback. You really learn how to do things right. My personal coach, Terrence, has been fantastic. He has coached me through a few injuries from activities outside the gym such as a car accident. He’s really helped me gain back a lot of the fitness you lose as you get older. I travel a lot for work and it made me wonder if the membership would be worth it. When I’m on the road, I’ll text picture of my hotel gym and Terrence will text me workouts. Take about going above and beyond. This really adds value to my gym membership, and really helps me stay on track with my fitness goals. Less

One of the best ways to work out in a super friendly inviting atmosphere. I tried and failed a few different typical gyms over the years due to having no accountability if I didn't go. If I don't show up for a few days Terrance will text me and ask how I'm doing. They've developed a very strong sense of community where everyone feels welcome and everyone encourages each other.

I have recently join the CrossFit North Okanagan family.I have worked out at other CrossFit gyms and can honestly say this is one of the largest and best run gyms I have had the pleasure of working out in. The coaches are very knowledgable and I love that they push me to do my best, but not so much that I injure myself in the process. I am fortunate to belong to such a great community!
