They were there when we needed them before and after the sale, getting our home listed, working through details of the sales transaction and inspections, arranging with the title company to sign paperwork in advance to facilitate a remote closing, being present at our home when we could not, and following up on a couple of items that came up at or after the closing. The team concept had its pluses and minuses. It was good that we worked primarily with 2 people, but we also had brief dealings with several others. For us we preferred having the longer term contacts, but having a team meant that different items got done promptly. Less

We had some pretty specific wants and working with Bruce really helped us figure out that what we were looking for just wasn't available in this area so we switched gears and started looking at options to build a house. Bruce had a couple builder contacts and we met a couple others at the Rochester home show that Bruce set up meetings with so we could all sit down and talk through what we were looking for. We ended up going with one of the builders Bruce knew and things turned out great!! It was our first time building and we got exactly what we wanted!! Bruce was there every step of the way answering questions and helping us through the process! Two weeks later we had an offer that we accepted! In the process of buying our new house we learned NEVER to do it again without a buyers agent. All of the little and in our case HUGE things that needed to be looked at and followed through on by the sellers were our responsibility while we were also trying to pack up our old house. There were so many things we didn't think were important that in the end were very important because the sellers didn't follow through and constantly changed the closing dates we had set up. A buyers agent would have handled the closing dates and also the satellite dish, deck stairs, alarm system, junk pile clean up and everything else that we had to deal with while we moved in and after.
