When changed to Palm Beach it went downhill bad! Jaymie & Ruth are only decent ones there !Why is Kaitlyn still there & manager on top of that ? She flat out LAZY ! I’ve been going to this location for a several months now. Walked in one Monday and everything was the same. Since the new company has taken over, I’ve not been happy. They no longer have stickers for me to gauge how much I’ve changed between each session. I guess I’ll have to purchase my own. Also, they made me sign a new policy without showing me the policy when I talk to them, they said nothing had changed Except for the name. That is my fault. I should’ve asked them to show everything to me. I work a full day and I do not live in Waco so I try to go on my lunch break anywhere between 9 AM and 1 PM. My workday is busy and I don’t always get to leave at the same time to go to lunch and it never was a big deal before, but I showed up an hour before the 24 hour period was over without even thinking about it and I was told I couldn’t tan. I could understand if it was a couple hours as I’m sure they have rules and policies that they have to go by, but I think it’s a little ridiculous but I couldn’t show up an hour Before the 24 hour period to tan. Literally just turned me away at the door. I wasted gas and my lunch break. So if you’re not on a strict schedule and you would like to use this location make sure you go at the same time every day or you will be turned away or I guess you would have to call up there and ask permission before driving over. If there was another company in the area and I will be looking I would definitely consider going somewhere else. Less

I’m super disappointed in the management and staff of this location. I had a membership for a couple months and canceled it in person after the last time I tanned, but the young staff member that was there did not inform me that I needed to sign any form to cancel. I was drafted the month of October and called to verify that I had canceled after being drafted again, and was told that it wouldn’t be drafted anymore. I let it go, and thought it was fixed because I didn’t get drafted in November. I hadn’t been there since September. I noticed my account was still being drafted this month, now January, and called again. I spoke to a young girl again and I asked her to leave a note for a manager to call me back so I could get my account canceled. She said she wrote a note, but when I called back the next day the manager Jamie- I think was her name, said there was not a note and there wasn’t anything she could do for me because she didn’t have her lap top with her that day and to call back to speak to the owner Monday. I called today, spoke to Robert the owner, and he was such an arrogant prick! He basically told me it wasn’t his fault no one told me I needed to sign a form to cancel my membership back in September and that they don’t do refunds because it’s not his fault I didn’t come to tan. I explained the communication error on his staffs part and again, he said it’s not his problem and that if he addresses his staff about this issues they wouldn’t remember anyways. I couldn’t believe how much he disregarded this problem, neglected to make it right, and how unprofessional he was about clearing this up for me. Luckily my bank has refunded my money already since he still refused to cancel my membership since I couldn’t come in. Seems like they try to make it impossible to cancel memberships so they can rack up payments even when you are no longer trying to tan there. It’s 2024, this place should have a better system for cancellations, especially if someone can’t make it in to sign a form, not to mention, making sure their staff is properly trained on how cancellations should be handled because I was under the impression my membership was cancelled. Sadly, these days good customer service/ management is hard to come by. I don’t recommend this place at all. There are way better tanning places around Waco! Less

After being a student at Baylor for 4 years and scouring the city for salons, this is by far the best place for tanning in Waco (this coming from someone used to tanning at a big chain, Palm Beach). I have tanned here off and on for those 4 years, and I am currently tanning there now once again, now that I can afford it! I see people writing reviews about "horrible spray tans" and what not, but that is not the salon's fault. If you don't do the process right, it won't work right. Prep your body right and take care not to do any excess activity for a couple hours after. Plus it's not like the salon makes the beds...blame the manufacturer if you really think you are not doing anything. Also, no offense, but spray tan color pigments are literally carrot-based, so if you feel like being orange....seriously no offense, I'm just being real. Anyway, I am a UV tanner, and this place has the best beds in Waco. I guess I am just used to Palm Beach, but Ergoline beds are by far the best on the market from what I have seen. After upgrading all of their beds to Ergoline models, this place has definitely become the tanning hotspot. It might be a bit pricey (I think a 3-month Level 2 membership is around $160), but if you want the best results as a Waco resident, you won't find better. I personally think it's definitely worth it. The staff usually consists of ditzy dumb girls, but the managers are extremely friendly if you are friendly as well. The place is always clean, and the staff really aims to please the customers. OH, and their hours rock compared to other Waco salons. I buy all my lotion online since it's always cheaper there, so I cannot give any criticism on their sales, but they seems to carry some good products. Sorry that I have ranted, but I hope this helps make your decision! Tanning is really a time for me to relax and get away from stuff while getting some good color, and this place is definitely a great place to do that. Two thumbs up, definitely!! Less
