I had a 40 consult with Tyler Bloomingdale and initially it went well. I scheduled a relatively close appt date for a very large tattoo on my chest to improve on one had done previously. After consideration that evening I let Tyler know that due to the large size of the tatttoo I would like to think on it longer and give it more consideration. I told Tyler that I would like to do the sleeve we ha... More

After consideration that evening I let Tyler know that due to the large size of the tatttoo I would like to think on it longer and give it more consideration. I told Tyler that I would like to do the sleeve we had perviously mentioned and keep the original times scheduled so that he could keep his calendar full. He was not happy and told me that he was not the artist for me to do military tattoos. I told home what I wanted and that it was relatively easy compared to the one previously planned. He said that was not his “style” and thatwe could discuss the original tat again. I feel like I was starting to be pushed for a service I was paying for and was going on my body, so I told him at this time I would like to discuss a sleeve. He simply said that he wasnt the artist for me. I let him know that was fair and would like my $250 payment back and he said no and that it was for the down payment of the original tat. Normally I would understand this if we had done done serious planning on it, but at this time we had only spent 40 minutes downloading pictures from google and no work was actually done with drawing or art. I feel like styler has some decent work but I feel like tattoo artists are starting to believe that we would be blessed to have them do work on us and are forgetting that we are the customers paying for a service. I will not be going back to war hawk and be looking for other artists to do my requested work. Watch out for what down payments you pay for with war hawk and definitely Tyler Bloomingdale. Less

People would be asked to move down the list because they “felt bad” for people who would get there after you had already been there for an hour or more, and then those people would be put in front of you and get tattooed. It was just extremely unprofessional, and ran horridly. The person making the list did not even work there and would just move people around as he felt. There was almost no point to the list. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. We were told that if you dress skimpy you have more pull in getting in quicker. Again I was not mad at the waiting, because I definitely knew it was going to be a long wait, but I was not expecting to get moved, and bumped from my spot after having been sitting at the shop the entire day. I won’t go back, and I would recommend the same to anyone that is looking to go there. Less
