Disciplined Dog Trainer, Dave and Maria are amazing! I boarded my XL Bully for 2 weeks and my girl has been transformed to a much more manageable dog (she is still a work in progress). She came back yesterday from being boarded and today, her 1st day back, I was able to actually enjoy family, my dog and peace of mind that my dog would not jump on them or even beg for food. Before boarding I would have had to crate her 😢😭 which I hated doing because she is a family member not just a dog. NOW WE CAN CO-EXIST!! Started out with a dog that was dumped on me. She was an out of control pittie. It got to a point where I was ready to be hospitalized due to the stress and misbehavior. I saw Disciplined Dog Trainer on Facebook. I was desperate so I gave David & Maria a call. The same day they came to my house for a consultation. I was so impressed the way they took charge of the situation. I was so lucky that they had a vacancy and he immediately took her for a 3 week board and training program. Every day I was sent updates and videos of the progress. When I got Aria back she was 1000% improved. That doesn't mean that the training is finished but now the training in my responsibility. I have really never written a google review but I felt this one needed to be written! This company disciplinary dog trainer is not only a company but a family who has dedicated themselves to reforming an animal that comes from a bad situation which sometimes we don’t know what and make them a family member who listens my dog was a bitter and this family got her to sit lay down walk on a leash go in her cage run on a treadmill to get her restless energy out they even gave me a vest to calm her down with put her on a raw diet all healthy treats brought her in public situations to be around people and other animals! When they brought her back they answered all my phone calls if I have a question because it’s a lot of information to retain they answer and even come over to help . The family goes above and beyond to help you out and in the end you have a happy dog and a hopeful future for many happy years with your dog! Less

Discipline Dog Trainer ……”The Only way to go ..period “!!!!! I can’t express strongly enough how wonderful Dave & Maria were with my pet Beagle Freddy. Freddy was Resource Guarding me from my wife. He was getting very aggressive towards her & she was fearful to be in the house with him. We sent Freddy to Discipline Dog Trainer’s Board & Training program. Dave was non-judgmental and calmed our fears concerning Freddy’s behavior. He was so receptive to our concerns. He made us realize that Freddy needed boundaries. During his training period Dave kept in touch with us the whole way ! He sent photos, videos, and phone calls demonstrating Freddy’s progress. Freddy was returned to us a new dog!! We need to continue training Freddy with the training blue print Dave & Maria left us with. They gave us all the tools needed to ensure Freddy becomes a well behaved dog. I highly recommend Disciplined Dog Trainer board and train. My sister was unable to care for her dog due to a fall. Her dog was not well trained and I feared my sister would never be able to care for her dog. I contacted David and Maria right away. My newest rescue blu was very high anxiety and reacted on impulse. We had some issues so we needed to correct it. So we found David and him and his wife were amazing. They were very knowledgeable and took time to tell us all about what blu the way he is. Blu came back a different dog he’s so loving and we don’t feel scared to meet new people. I can't say enough about the dog board and train program I recently experienced. From the moment they came to pick up my beloved canine companion, I knew I had made the right choice. The trainers were true professionals. They took the time to understand my dog's unique needs and personality. Their experience and knowledge were evident in every interaction. They used positive reinforcement techniques and were patient and compassionate throughout the training process. One of the most significant benefits of the program was the regular updates they provided. I received video and photo updates daily which eased my anxiety about being separated from my pet. They were also very responsive whenever I reached out with questions. This transparent communication was a reassuring touch. After a few weeks in the program, I was amazed at the transformation in my dog's behavior. Maria and Dave are AWESOME! My year and a half old Corgi, Nugget, is the most stubborn boy. He's a smaller dog, but he's very smart and VERY strong. I reached out to Disciplined Dog Trainer back in February because he started showing leash reactivity and was leash pulling uncontrollably. I was working with another trainer at the time too, but the behavior was actually progressively getting worse, to the point where I started dreading walks and leaving my apartment with Nugget. I started taking the stairs to get outside and back in, just to avoid walking past other dogs and people in the elevator and lobby. Maria and Dave came to my apartment for a consult the day that i reached out to them. They were immediately ready to help me and Nugget. Nugget spent only two weeks with Maria and Dave and came back a brand new Corgi! I was a little apprehensive about using a prong collar with Nugget, but Dave showed me how to use this training resource correctly and responsibly to make sure it stays a safe and effective communication tool for Nugget. And i must say, it's truly night and day!! He no longer reacts to dogs and people walking by. He walks right beside me, and even looks to me for direction! I also want to mention that he isn't afraid of the prong collar, and actually reacts positively when i put it on because as Dave says, "he knows it's time to work". In the past few weeks though, he's started reverting back to old behavior. Admittedly, all due to my own fault, since i haven't been consistent and practicing everything we've learned with Nugget on the daily. Maria and Dave came over yesterday and in just one hour, helped me re-established control and discipline again. Corgis are incredibly smart and stubborn dogs, and over time i allowed him to push the boundaries I had set in place. Though i'll need to keep working hard with Nugget to prevent this from happening again, it's just so reassuring to know that Maria and Dave are only a call/text away if we do start falling back into old patterns. Maria and Dave reach out to me on a weekly basis to get updates on Nugget. I send them videos of our walks and outings, and Dave replies almost instantly with questions and feedback to help us maintain and improve on all the hard work that Nugget's been putting in. Not many trainers are willing or are easily available to converse with their clients on a daily basis, but Dave and Maria are always ready to chat whenever i need some quick tips or guidance. I'm so happy with the training results i've seen, and they've helped me understand that a happy dog is a disciplined dog :) Less
