It has now been around 6 weeks though and I still find myself feeling upset and swindled out of money and no answers. I went to see Dr. Bethea for an initial appointment where I believe I paid a little over $300. She made me feel so full of hope that we were going to finally find out what was causing me to be so Ill after years of labs and questions with no answers. I was told she’d email me a blood work order to take and get done. I wasn’t sure how long it normally took to write that but after 7 days, I finally called to ask if I needed to do anything else. The front desk was a bit confused and said “ohhhh yeah it looks like she’s been wanting us to work on that.” Honestly, stuff happens and I get that so I still decided to go through with the lab work and go back after my labs were in. I was told it would take 2 weeks and that the staff would call me shortly to schedule my follow up. After 2 weeks I had email alerts and could see all my blood work results but still hadnt received a call. I called the office again and the front desk staff said “oh! We haven’t checked that portal for that lab.” I made my follow up appt via telehealth for a few days later. The follow up appointment went over the blood work I had done, which actually totaled to over $9 K worth. I had 27 viles of blood taken which was not the fault of the dr, but I do feel like with that much taken, I should have some answers. There was supposedly 2 pages of results missing and she was to call me back as soon as she found them or heard back from the lab I got the blood drawn from. It’s now been over 6 weeks and I never heard back from her. While the staff was kind, I can not recommend someone that would take so much money to not even complete what they were paid to do. I also don’t feel it was my job to continuously remind the front desk and Dr to do theirs either. I’m now out over $700 between appointments and supplements ordered with no answers and a really bad taste in my mouth. I truly just wanted a naturopathic dr that came so highly rated on various platforms to help. I was desperate. And now I’m just out of money and still in the same position.
