I normally don’t do these but the team here changed my life! I’m 22 years old. I was on birth control for about two years but I didn’t like the way it made me feel. So I stopped, thinking nothing of it. I all of a sudden didn’t get a period, for about 3 months. It was random and just stopped. I booked an appointment with my regular dr. I went alone thinking they’d made me take a test or do some other testing. I sat there. Alone. As the dr told me I had pcos and I would never be able to have kids, and if I was able it would be really hard. I broke down into tears. It was hard to hear but especially so young. I went through the most painful and terrible testing of my life at UC health. I knew I didn’t fit the criteria so I booked an appointment with Lindsey. She listened to me. Listened to what I was ACTUALLY experiencing. We did my testing, which was super easy and not painful at all, to find out I was just lacking a hormone. It was just super low. She told me it would take time to get my periods again but to see if it helped with me not sleeping, my nausea, my bloating and my breakouts. I was so exhausted and my body was so tired I was willing to try anything. After about a week I had started my period, my body is slowly still adjusting but I’m also finally sleeping. I don’t like needles (who does?) and there is no way I could directly inject myself. I just did my first auto injection and it could not have been any easier!! Immediately after doing the auto injection I placed a second order for another injector knowing this is now an essential device for me to continue doing my twice a week injections. Willing to try anything at this point, I made an appointment with Spark. Lindsay is amazing! Very professional and courtious. The initial visit and blood draw were quick and painless. When I returned a week later for the follow up visit she went into detail about the results of the blood work. She explained some areas that need to be addressed and could be done with some supplements. The one area, the main cause of the whole reason I made the decision to see Lindsay in the first place, turns out to be low testosterone. Lindsay explained that there are more pressing health issues that are related to low T. Short story long, I start my treatment this week. I am so glad I made the appointment I highly recommend Spark, specifically, Lindsay! Less
