Fiona provides boarding set up which was good for me as i don't keep them in cages and every other place wanted me to bring their own cages. You can bring your pets favorite toys, treats or food and Fiona is taking very well care of each rabbits needs. One major plus for me was that I know Fiona being extremely knowledgeable when it comes to small animal care taking and rabbits have their own whole world of potential health issues, which inexperienced pet sitters may not be able to identify and act accordingly. It gave me very much ease of mind knowing my rabbits are with an experienced care taker. l loved getting picture updates as well. After we found a rescue rabbit that we fell in love with we really wanted to take him home but had concerns as we would be attempting to bond two males. When we brought our second rabbit home they didn’t really get along, we were so desperate to make it work so we took them to Fiona to get bonded, to our surprise when we went to collect them after their bonding time was up they were cuddling in the one carrier together!! they’re now inseparable and we couldn’t be happier we chose Fiona to do it for us. Seriously changed our lives and certainly Richards (our first rabbit) who was in serious need of company and Lionel who we took in from a rescue who needed a brother to play and cuddle with. I seriously cannot recommend fiona enough! I had zero qualms about leaving the two bunns with Fiona for a week as her expertise and care for small furries was very evident. I knew she would take good care of them. Fiona sent videos and photos every day they were with her, showing us how they were getting along. By the end of the week, our bunnies were in love! It was so reassuring to know that Fiona was available for follow up assistance for a month after they came home, although after following her instructions we had zero problems anyway. She kept us up to date at every stage with photos, videos, and reports of how they were doing. She was very patient with both rabbits and their quirks and gave them a full make-over too, despite their considerable aversion to being handled. Considering that this could have been an extremely stressful experience for them, they came home totally calm, happy, and unfazed, and this is the biggest compliment I think to Fiona and her talents. We are so grateful to Fiona for her help - she supported us both before and after the bonding process, providing such useful advice and reassurance, and helped us to make sure that all ran smoothly. We have two happy campers here and Fiona could definitely also be referred to as an owner whisperer as she is so patient and lovely with anxious pet mothers like myself!! I brought my pet gerbil to stay with Fiona for a little over a month. At the moment, it's more important than ever that we have somewhere that we know will care for our bunnies in case of emergencies and I'm delighted that The Rabbit Rooms is staying open. Fiona gave us great advice in the days leading up the rabbits heading off for bonding , she kept us updated all the time when the rabbits were gone and 2 days later they came home in the same carrier. Even after they arrived home , Fiona has been checking in to see how they are getting on and giving any advice needed. When we took our newly bonded boys home Fiona went out of her way to make sure we were ready and contribues to check in regularly about their progress. Our boys did have a spat about a month after coming home and even after all that time Fiona continued to support us by being available to answer all our question and guide us through the necessary steps. Fiona took care of my 2 skinny pigs for 2 weeks and I got them back just as happy and healthy as I left them. Three weeks ago our two rabbits, Oreo &Teddy couldn't be out of their cages in the same room together. Oreo the older of the two was very aggressive to Teddy and would chase and bite her. After three days of bunny bonding with Fiona, a miracle happened and the pair are now best of friends. They share the same cage, eat together and now roam our kitchen like never before. While I haven't used The Rabbit Rooms for boarding, Fiona was exceptionally helpful when it came to helping me (sadly) rehome my 4 rat babies. She even took time out to come and pick up their cage once they'd been rehomed to give to a charity that could make use of it. Bonding a 3rd rabbit to an existing pair is notoriously difficult, yet Fiona's incredible knowledge and dedication appears to have done the trick for our trio. Only home for a few days but all 3 are best mates so far. Fiona went way above and beyond; from spending sleepless nights with them so she could constantly monitor, to trying a number of different...
