Karen was extremely knowledgeable. We learned so much about Charleston “Charles Town” named after King Charles II. I would highly recommend it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our low country history stroll with Karen! Karen was engaging and very knowledgeable of Charleston history and architecture. The tour was at least two hours, and Karen added much insight and interesting stories to the tour. We will definitely be back for another stroll!
Karen was a wealth of information and insight into the history and architecture of the oldest parts of Charleston. Her tour was lengthy and dynamic as we strolled for nearly two hours, but it went by so fast because of the delightful conversation and stories that we shared with her. We definitely recommend this tour!

I highly recommend Karen if you are looking for a knowledgeable and fun tour guide while in Charleston. We learned so much about the history of the city from her. I was in town with 2 of my girlfriends and Karen was just like part of our group. She also took us to Savannah for the day and that was a wonderful addition to our trip. You won't be disappointed when you book a tour/tours with her.

I'd give it more stars if I could. Wonderful tour! Informative and entertaining.

Karen is a true Charlestonian with a love for the city - knowing so much about where it has been, why it is the way it is, and where it is going. She tells her beautiful stories with such passion helping her guests feel as if they ARE part of American History. The Lowcountry History Stroll is one of the most educational, inspiring, and beautiful things that I have done in Charleston!
