I ordered the marinated lamb, I received ten chunks of dried up meat with pitta bread, salad, and chips. As a lunchtime catch up with friends I felt it would put a dampner on the occasion if I sent the food back. However I must express how disappointed I was with the whole experience.

A gem of a place with an extensive vegetarian menu (meat options are available too). Perfect for lunch and evening, although a breakfast menu is available too. Popular and busy with local diners in the afternoon, the atmosphere becomes cosy and romantic as darkness falls upon the town. Prices are very reasonable and service is friendly. We love this bistro!

We have visited this restaurant on several occasions, including today for a lunch. The food is always fresh and excellent, with a very generous portion size that accounts for the menu prices. Service is always very good, with minimal waiting times and an attentive but unfussy level of service. A great local restaurant and highly recommended.

Pricing wasn't the cheapest around, but it was far from the most expensive, I'd say the cost was mid range and you're definitely tasting the quality with the extra cost. Everything was fresh and well made and well presented. My only negative was the particular seat I chose was right by a window and I was uncomfortably hot from the direct sunlight coming through the floor to ceiling glass. This would not deter me from returning, I would think differently on my seating next visit though. I cannot speak for whether this place was child friendly. The look and feel of the place is very mature and chic, it is cozy due to its limited space and therefore I don't feel it would be the best place for my child with his particular needs. A really nice eatery in Hastings. The food is delicious. We had two types of Lamb. Namely the Kofte and grilled lamb. The size was perfect and taste was amazing. Amazing food! Good value!

10/10 awesome. Been wanting to try it for ages and so happy I finally made it in. I had a halloumi wrap which was absolutely massive and so delicious. Everything fresh and made in house by their very friendly chef. Every dish that came past me looked terrific and I can’t wait to go back.

A really superb place to relax and eat. Great service, great atmosphere. The food is worth every penny, friendly attentive staff. With a great view across to the beach with sea views, chilled 1920s 30s tunes, a truly great place to eat.

It was one of the best I ever had the omelette was nice and clean with a little salad on the side with seadless olive toasted bread the girls were so friendly and clean chef also same. I can say that sea view make you feel start the day fresh, would like to sinsereliy thank you,🙏🙏

Had a lovely late lunch with my daughter yesterday. Good size portions and reasonable.

Popped in for lunch. Had the meatballs and they were fantastic. Big portion and a great atmosphere. Wife had the falafel and enjoyed it. Everything cooked from scratch. Well done 👍

Quite nice mezze, but swimming in grease! I've never eaten anything before where each dish comes in half an inch of oil and you have to pour it off your plate. Flaky and vague staff but they may just be Saturday people. Would not come here again despite the other good reviews.

My new favourite place to eat! Halloumi wrap and my partners burgers were very tasty with fresh ingredients. Huge portions and priced well. Nice smoothie! Friendly staff and the chef checked if all was OK which was a nice touch. Will return to try a meze platter and cakes from the huge selection. Did sample a baklava whilst we were there - yum!

Really lovely little Meze cafe. We hadn’t booked but the staff were more than accommodating seating 7 of us at lunchtime. Nothing was too much trouble. Friendly waitress and friendly chef. The food was excellent. We had Greek salad with lamb on the side. Halloumi and roasted vegetable salad, falafel pitta. The baba ganoush was absolutely delish! Highly recommend a visit when in Hastings

A very nice breakfast. Freshly cooked and good ingredients. Had to rush out because of a parking meter but will be back again soon.

Best halloumi burger I've ever tried, fresh salad and home made burger ban, the cafe is really cosy and the staff super friendly, we went for take away option on this occasion only because we wanted to catch a bit more of 🌞🌞🌞. Highly recommended if you're around Hasting .
