The first time, although a surprise, I paid the bill. Second time, I asked about pre-auth. However, I was assured that there was no way that particular work (a crown) could be denied, so work proceeded. Well, it was denied again! When I questioned the earlier assurance, I was told to contact insurance. While they probably have tried to work with insurance, it was not productive or reasonable for them to ask me, who has no dental training to argue with insurance. Instead, they should get better on coverage estimates and be be wiling to pick up the phone and pre-check with insurance. If you decide to go to this office, make sure all major dental work has pre-approval. DO NOT take their words for it. Less

Dr. Savage has been my dentist for a long time she and her staff are so trustworthy, professional and extremely proficient.

Paid for a retainer and cleaning at time of appt and was told that I had covered all charges. 8 months later they charged me an additional $175 for the same appt. They said that they found that they could charge more to insurance for some of the work that was done and that I would be on the hook for the rest.

We moved to the Harbor a couple of years ago and I finally found the right dentist for me. I've never had a better cleaning and thorough consultation on my dental health -- and I've been going to the dentist for over 50 years. Dr. Savage's knowledge and high standards permeate throughout the whole office.

It's only been my 1st visit, but I really enjoyed the Hygienist Erin who was assigned to me. Dr Ronda Savage was very professional and provide extra time to talk about what's going on in my mouth. With the way she comes across, her education,/knowledge, and past experiences, I believe I may have made the right dentist choice. Summing it up, I feel I'm in good hands.

Extremely impressed with the service at this clinic. The staff were all very friendly. I had work done that needed shots to numb me, at least 8 could barely feel the pokes of the needle. This was my first visit, and I have moderate dental anxiety. The staff was very friendly, and Dr Savage and the technician were thorough and professional. The atmosphere in the office was relaxing which greatly helped my anxiety. I'll definitely be going back.

I loved my previous dentist, Dr. Grimm, but I just couldn't get in as Fridays are my only days off and apparently theirs too. Thankfully, I found Uptown Dental and Dr. Savage. This was a fantastic experience overall. Great staff, smooth check in process. Dr. Savage is very knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. Everyone was nice and helpful. Five stars!

I never realized how much pain I was in until they took it all away with massage, ultrasound, laser, and minimal bite adjustments. They are gentle, kind, funny, and extremely caring of all of their patients. Dr. Savage is incredibly knowledgable and experienced. She and her staff are experts in dentistry and although proactive, they don't suggest work that doesn't need to be done. You won't be disappointed with Uptown Dental in Gig Harbor! Dr. Rhonda Savage and her team are absolutely the best! I tend to have a low tolerance to pain so going to the dentist was never a real pleasant thing for me. Dr Savage takes extra time with me to make sure I am comfortable and very numb before she ever starts! Really like how they work as a team there, it's like there one big family!
