Update Reply 6/30/25,No, this was not an error for the "wrong clinic". Perhaps you were not working there when Eye Physicians & Surgeons were doing cataract surgery, or you did not notice that I said the surgeon retired. But I can understand your confusion as your name is now Billings Retina and Macula @ Eye Physicians and Surgeons. However, I am quite alarmed that you were unable to find any of my records. Providers are required to retain records 6 years as stipulated by basic HIPAA regulations. So perhaps you would find them in archives. My surgery was there June 13, 2023. I had multiple follow up appointments with the surgeon over the next four and a half months. I even had an appointment with Dr. Switzer on 10/31/23 the very day the surgeon retired. Dr. Switzer was very nice and was kind enough to give me a referral to my new opthamologist so I could be seen right away. So, this was not criticism of Dr. Switzer or the Billings Retina & Macula Clinic.Horrible experience. Surgeon botched my cataract removal. When things didn't improve he kept saying it needed more time to heal. In the meantime, blurred vision etc. 4 months later he finally admitted he, "didn't know what was wrong and oh by the way I'm retiring" ! Went to a different clinic and had to have another surgery to correct a vitreous prolapse, multiple sutures left in there and pull the artificial lens in front of my pupil !! There's no way that jerk didn't see what was wrong, he was just buying time 😡
