I'm an ISA certified arborist, and so when I needed some very tall and dead trees removed I got several bids because I'm not a climber. I heard about Tree Talk from a neighbor and decided to grab a bid from them, too. They were incredibly competent, and so I went with their bid. They have some of the most important qualifications for diagnosis and removal in addition to being ISA certified arborists. Ryan, who has a tree risk assessment qualification (TRAQ - a qualification that requires significant time and testing), was able to assess my trees on a very steep slope. He then provided maps and a quote for permits and removal. Permits were a super quick with a turnaround of just an under two weeks in Lake Oswego. The climbers and ground crew they brought out were super pro, and were in and out after dropping a few 40'+ dead alders in less than 90 minutes (we left the alders in the forest, so no removal). I highly recommend getting bids from Tree Talk if you're in the Portland area, and especially if you're in Lake Oswego. Less

Tree talk did work for our HOA and a neighbor of mine. They were communicative, letting us know of a schedule change ahead of time. On the appointed day they were prompt, made adjustments on the fly with no problem, and left NOTHING behind. You couldn't tell where the two trees had been and there was not a leaf, not a twig left behind. Very safe, professional work.

Ryan and his team helped trim and install a cable at the top of a massive Fir tree for us and trim a couple large maple trees as well.
