Never in a million years would I have expected to be happy to see my builders each day but they were just such lovely people. They were incredible role models for our children - helpful, thoughtful, kind and sensible. They workshopped everything with us with patience and flexibility where required. They had high standards for their own work and those of their subcontractors. We modified and added things as we went for various reasons, as we developed confidence that they would find a way to make our ideas work. Their advice was invaluable and elevated the build. They always had options for us to consider. At every step we could feel how invested they were in doing a great job for us. We are so happy with the renovation and whenever we have visitors or tradespeople through they comment on the excellent quality. We engaged Nomad to undertake an extension to our house in the Southern Highlands at beginning of 2022. We spoke to several local builders and during the initial selection process Nomad was probably last on our list as they were not a local builder. However, something about their responsiveness and approach piqued our interest and we quickly came to the conclusion they were the best choice. The fact they were not locally based was never an issue. Everything ran to plan in terms of materials, on site continuity, quality of their staff and trades was second to none, all during limitations and curved balls that were being thrown at the building industry due to Covid. The team at Nomad Built were amazing from quote to finish. Our son was born a couple weeks earlier than expected, in the middle of the refurb. They were able to complete earlier than anticipated, plus quality workmanship. Highly recommend.
