We had chinook remediate our homes exterior from the 2024 hail storm. They did our gutters, fascia, roof which we upgraded, as well as we changed our vinyl siding to hardie since this was our second claim unfortunately we decided to change the material on our home to withstand what Calgary has been throwing at our homes in the north. From start to finish the whole experience was fantastic. 10 out of 10 we recommend this company over and over again.

I approached Chinook Exteriors with my 2 storey detached home project; cedar siding repair, full exterior repaint, and a complete replacement of the soffits, fascia and eaves.Cayla responded quickly, but it was during that time this year we had non stop rain so it understandably took awhile to get the ball rolling. Dean the estimator came out and took photos, measurements and we talked about what I wanted done. He was quick to point out the issues they would have with installing around my existing permanent light system, and experienced enough to answer all my questions & concerns. He definitely proactively solved at least 1 problem I would have run into if it wasn't noticed. After a few days Dean produced a detailed line item quote of the work and we came to terms on it.I was told up front a lead time, and they communicated in advance when they needed more time on account of the ongoing rain we had. Jean-François the owner came out to double check everything, say hello, and kick the project off. I appreciated that gesture, great guy.Painters (Julian) came out first and repaired siding, sanded, primed and prepped one day 1, and were done after painting the 2 following days. Metals (Mat) crew came in right after and staged, demod, and completed the new soffit fascia eaves & gutter system over the course of 4 days.Cayla was very nice to deal with, and we got things done efficiently over email which works so much better for me than calls. A real breath of fresh air for busy introverted people 😂. The crews were respectful of me, my property, and my neighbors. They weren't needlessly noisy with their work or music, cleaned up well and returned everything in the perimeter that they had to move around to the way they were. But most importantly they did a fantastic job, and left me relieved that this has finally gotten done.Would definitely reach out to Chinook again for future exterior work.

Today, Mathieu has completed his work on our house. He has replaced our eavestrough and gutter with the state of art quality of workmanship. It is very hard to find a good installer like him in Calgary for gutter system. His work is completely thorough and demonstrates his considerate design for the optimum water flow. Our gutter looks noticeably beautiful and functional as a result. Thank you Mathieu for helping us to have our dream gutter system.Also Dean has impressed me as a hardworking and honest person from his first visit of our house. It was a cold, snowy day in Nov. He stayed almost half an hour to measure all the detailed dimensions of our siding area. We chose Royal Estate siding for our whole house siding replacement (2228 sqft). His pricing was right in the middle among the eight most reputable siding companies I had over for quote (26K). Our siding project was done right before Christmas 2024. During the project, he responded all my questions and involved himself in communicating to the foreman. When the project was finished, I asked for some detailed adjustment. It was right after the Christmas week. Dean came over with the crews and provided all the materials needed for fixing. What has impressed me and my husband the most is the way Dean treated his crews. He encouraged them when they did good; and, guided them to fix their work even when they were hesitant. We were impressed with his leadership demonstrated to us through our siding project. I recommend Dean as a rare sales manager, who has true serving heart for both his clients and his crews.

I hired this company for a commercial build-out, and the results were unacceptable. Crooked walls, uneven flooring, and rushed paint jobs were just the beginning. They acted like the job was “good enough” instead of aiming for quality. I had to bring in another contractor to fix their mistakes.

We recently had the team at Chinook Exteriors do our home that was hit by the August hail storm. They were an honest upfront company from the beginning explaining their timeline which we appreciated as alot of companies blew us off. They helped us through the entire insurance process which was so helpful and made it so quick. Provided our insurance company with the proper reports they required to get the ball rolling. We had siding damage, eavestrough, window frame, some glass, roof and garage door damage. We highly recommend this company and we are very happy we chose them. Thank you again!
