This place is outstanding. I came here on somewhat of a whim driving by on the way home from an overworked day and gave it a try. All I can say is wow. I am getting in great shape, making new connections and feeling great about health and fitness. SOCF has been a huge part of this. You won't get a workout like this on your own. All of the coaches are great - encouraging, will push, highlight your form, and know you by name - and the owners workout right next to you. The equipment is excellent and they continue to upgrade and make additions. Top notch in all ways. I highly recommend it based on my experience here over the past year.

I dropped in several times in the last month as I was in Orlando for some work related training. If I lived here I would join this gym in a heartbeat. Trevor (the owner) promptly responded to my online request to drop in for the 2023 Open workouts and treated me like a regular member right away. The second I walked in the gym one of the coaches (Steve) greeted me and later introduced me to the class … so I felt right at home. All the members were super friendly and outgoing. Great community vibe. This is the best box I’ve ever been to. It’s a big gym with tons of space. Huge rigs with tons of equipment … all in great working order. The details of the WOD are displayed on a big TV so it’s easy to read and everyone can get right to work on the warmup when they arrive. The support I received from the coaches (Nancy and Steve) was amazing. They helped me achieve my best in the Open workouts I did there and for that I am grateful. Great CrossFit Gym. Highly recommend.

I’ve been a member at South Orlando CrossFit for four years. It was intimidating walking in the doors for the first time, but quickly found out that SOCF is a gym for everyone at every level of fitness. I’ve never thought about looking for another gym since I’ve joined. The coaches are very knowledgeable, offering scaling options when needed. CrossFit is all about the community of people you work out with. That community will always be a reflection of the gym ownership. You will find no better community and no better owners than Trevor and Angela at South Orlando CrossFit. Yes, CrossFit is wicked hard and forces you to places you would almost nevertake yourself on your own. But, it is also immensely satisfying, rewarding and FUN! I work in an air-conditioned office all day with little movement. Nothing brings me back to life more than hearing weights dropping to the mat and one of the coaches yelling "10 seconds". If you are a CrossFitter, this is your box. If you are new to CrossFit, this is definitely your box.

This is a great gym! I started going to this CF gym about 5 months ago. It’s located in SoDo. The instructors are super approachable, knowledgeable, and each bring a different style to their classes. The weekday classes generally consist of: 15min to do the suggested warmup (or whatever you want) then a strength component for about 20ish minutes (?), then the WOD. The Saturday WOD is generally a longer partner WOD. I also like the fact that this gym focuses on form and includes linear progression in their programming. They also expanded their amenities to include cold plunge tubs, IV treatments, and popsicles in addition to the existing “bougie towel service” and outdoor shower (for rinsing off before hopping into the plunge tub). What also sets this gym apart from others is it’s programming and equipment for adaptive athletes. Definitely check it out.

I've been around the Crossfit scene for many years and South Orlando Crossfit is one of the best. The trainers are consistent, professional and very knowledgeable. The gym is well equipped and maintained. This isn't a remotely operated chain. The Owners are wonderful members of the local community and frequently leading classes or getting a workout themselves.

Awesome CrossFit box! Huge facility, great coaches, friendly community! SOCF is a great place to workout and really change your body, get lean and gain muscle. I have worked out my whole life but never like this. Every day, every wod is different. I can finally see muscle definition because of SOCF! 💪🏻😁
