I came across this company online and decided to call. We scheduled a time to come to my house. They charge $85.00 for the visit, just to inspect. Dominic the tech came and looked at my ac unit and suggested maintenance and adjust the Freon as is running a little lower than it should be. We talked about prices, they have a one time charge price and also have a year membership. The year membership is $239.99 plus $99/lib of Freon. And he stated “if you decide to do this today we can take care of the service today “ I took a minute to talk to my wife to make the decision wether one time service fee or year membership. As we don’t know this company we didn’t want to pay for a service that we may would not like. I came back to Dominic and agreed to get the one time fee and Freon. Right there he replied that he had to schedule the service for another day because they’re family owned and had people without AC to take care of. After assuring me that he would be able to take care of the maintenance today the story changed within 3 minutes without apologizing for the inconvenience or miscommunication. Dominic spent no more than 20 minutes checking my ac unit and charged me $85 just to park his car in front of my house for 30 minutes without giving a solution and on top trying to make me believe I heard the wrong statement. I guess, yearly membership gets more priority but he did not even explain that. I would definitely understand if that was the case. The price increased 177% for the same exact job (unclogging an AC drain line) at the same location within 11 MONTHS since it was done last and took maybe 35 minutes. Was a returning customer, but highly doubtful now due to the outrageous price hike. Yes, inflation and costs go up, but this is egregious for a simple task done twice in less than a year.
