I personally don’t even want to put one star, this was a -5 star job at best, this is the first time we used this service, and will be the last. My boyfriend paid for our front and back yards to be cut, weeded, and just some basic yard maintenance. After we looked at the yard when we arrived home, the front yard was cut, but barely, it wasn’t not weeded at all, our yards still running ramped with weed we paid to be removed, nothing was trimmed either, and the backyard wasn’t touched nor tended to in any sort. It was almost $100, and we received half the job. Yet we’re still expected to pay the remaining balance on a job that was only half done. If they had any issues they could of simply called me or my boyfriend to clarify, and let us know that they would not complete the job, but we weren’t called and told anything was a problem or issue. So be very weary of booking their lawn care, it’s a RIP OFF!
AN EDIT since you can’t reply to comments: If you couldn’t tell I’m very upset with the fact you couldn’t notify us of the fact you wouldn’t get to the back yard, and that we had to come home and see the front yard in mediocre condition, we could of paid a neightbor kid $20 and got the same exact results you’d given, and the backyard untouched. If you’re not going to meet the expectation YOU set for YOURself as a company it is YOUR responsibility to communicate that effectively with YOUR customer. Also we just got our house, still learning the front and backyard, and we obviously started from the ground up, so forgive me for us not knowing we had a rock in our brand new, to us, back yard, it would of been lovely to have been notified of that after you saw that in the first place and that you wouldn’t be able to do the backyard because of it. That looks very business professional to state that in a public Google comment that our yard was in such a condition, but you didnt feel inclined to call? Or feel any need to tell that to us, the client, directly that you couldn’t complete the job due to a rock? But you can tell everyone else on Google right now to cover yourself? Right. Also I meant you didn’t even weedeat the yard, not weeding the yard, that was my fault that I got those two confused, but also the basic lawn care maintenance that you DO offer was not done either, so I can completely understand why you feel so justified to say what you did. But It does not change the fact that we did not get what we paid for. It does not change the poor communication throught out the entire process, and I had to call to straighten it out because you kept ignoring his calls and sending him to voicemail also? Now if you would of simply notified us of any inconveniences that were had in the process we would of been MORE than understanding and we definitely could of talked about the situation. But you just told me about that rock through a google review comment instead of telling us any of that information directly? You did have both of our phone numbers on file. If you’d of done your job of effectively communicating the problem to the client we wouldn’t have an issue, but at this point you’re not blaming my yard for you’re ineffective communication as a company.
That’s a shame on your part. Again, understanding is all over the place, but you have to be willing to communicate things.
