I waited for 3 months to leave this review. I have been dealing with lower back pain for over 10 years. I wanted my review to be truthful and accurate. I've been dealing with lower back issues for years until the doctor start giving me injections. The injections helped treat the pain, so I could have somewhat a normal life. The injections would wear off every 6 months or so. I've had injections at least 6 different times. A friend sent me an Instagram reel of this Dr. doing what is called the ring dinger. I watched the videos and search the entire internet for good and bad reviews. After about 6 months I decided to try the ring dinger. The soonest appointment i could get was 2 months out. By the time the 2 months past it was time for me to get another injection but I wanted to give the ring dinger a try first. My pain was only about a 3 when I arrived at Dr Elahi's office. After I had the procedure done it went up to a 5 instantly. He pulled me twice to see it he could get my back to loosen up, but it didn't loosen up. I left with more pain than when I arrived. He instructed me to go home and ice my back and come back for a second appointment 2 months later then a 3rd appointment 2 months after that. Although I left in more pain, I still believed in the process. After a few days to about a week later, the pain subsided back to about a level 3. By 2 months later I was ready for my next appointment. This time my pain was down to a 1 or so. ( without getting injections my pain has went down) after just 1 treatment. At my second appointment he pulled me twice again. This time, I felt my back loosen up a little. When i got off the table I had no pain. He gave me the same instructions as before. To immediately ice my back when I get home. After a few days I didn't have much pain but my back felt weak. Not painful but as if my back muscles needed strengthen. Well it's 1 month after and I feel great. Not like I did 20 years ago, but if my back remains like this I will never need injections again. Many Doctors are trying to do the same without the table that locks your hips in so an absolute full stretch occurs. I had 2 adjustments before he was able to get to my very lowest back. I do not think this would be possible without be locked in. Dr made sure that my last time I was locked in extremely tight, uncomfortably tight but it was what had to be done so I did not slip any. It worked and happy it did. I think price will come down as more Doctors begin to do the same thing. Supply and demand but for now the price is right to be able to get it done. I have had back pain for 20 years, and through late 2023 and until I saw Dr. Elahi in September 2024, the pain was quite bad. I could not stretch or rest or recover in any way. Pain all the time. Trying to sleep was very difficult. My back hurt 24/7. My hips felt like they were on fire - literally. I live in Dallas and found Dr. Elahi through his YouTube channel. I watched 50+ of the videos and decided I had to do something to help with my pain. I saw Dr. Elahi in September 2024 - I would say my situation was probably fairly common, my right leg was about 1.5" short because my pelvis was twisted and my back was very tight. Dr. Elahi did some minor adjustments on the drop table to align my legs and then did the ring-dinger. There is no way to prepare for what you experience. For me, being pinned in the table hurt my already sore hips, but the spine decompression did not hurt. I felt incredible relief. My neck started popping before Dr. Elahi really even started pulling - once he made the big pull, I felt my entire spine and rib cage crack. It felt like 40-50 cracks in about one second. The biggest surprise for me was the rib cage. I feel like I have 25-35% more lung capacity. I have never been able to breathe so easily and deeply in my life, even when I was a teenager I always felt like I was panting for air. Now I can breathe so deeply and easily I still cannot believe it. The back and hip pain immediately subsided. One visit took care of about 95% of my pain. Yes, my back and hips will still be sore if I do strenuous activity, but I can rest and recover and get to no pain within a few minutes to a few hours. I do not need to take ibuprofen or any other pain reliever. I went from the pain defining my life to it being a passing occasional thought. I enjoy walking and decided to do a before/after test. Two days before my first appointment, I could only walk 1.5 miles with multiple rest stops due to hip and back pain - it was brutal. Two days after my first appoinment, I walked 5.5 miles with no stops. I returned to Dr. Elahi this week (late November) for my second visit. My right leg was only about 1/4" short this time, so Dr. Elahi made quick work of adjusting that on the drop table. The second ring-dinger, for me, was much deeper. I felt the second one mostly in my lower back and hips. Still a ton of cracking in those areas and even more relief in my hips. It felt incredible. There is no way to descible the relief you will feel. Like probably nearly everyone, I was scared and skeptical. Let me say it clearly and loudly - IT WORKS. If you are scared, it is worth pushing through the fear to experience the pain relief. There was no pressure to return for a second visit, Dr. Elahi said "come back if you feel like you need to..." Thank you Dr Elahi! Thursday, Sept, 28th, 2024, almost two weeks ago, I came to you with a lot of compression in my neck, upper-mid back and low back. I had tension just below the occiput and behind the mandible that caused me to experience blurry vision and headaches.  I also had a lot of pain in my left glute / hip area that made it unbearable to stand for longer lengths of time.  In my mid back, T5-8 were constantly out of alignment, mostly due to forward head posture (FHP). All of this was resolved with one Ring Dinger.  the tension is gone,  my eyesight has vastly improved.  I am still near sighted, but feel with some exercises, this could improve over time.  I have had a left eye that was diagnosed "lazy" since I was 4 years of age.  This resulted in my inability to move it to the left and focus, so for my entire life, I could only see peripherally to the left side, but that tense muscle relaxed and I can look left without a problem now!  The eye is still very weak, but should improve in time. My upper-mid back has not come out of alignment once since the adjustment.  This technique was the only technique that addressed my FHP, allowing my ears to be directly aligned over my shoulders, which is why this segment of my back has finally stayed in alignment. My hips feel so loose, even two weeks later. No more pain, at all!  I remember walking into the grocery store right after receiving the adjustment, and realized my hip movement was like it was when I was 20 years younger.  I hadn't realized how stiff I had become.  There is definitely a euphoria that comes from the clear flow of energy through the spine.   I had a grin on my face that wouldn't go away.  I feel so peaceful now. I practice Qigong a few times a week and stretch every night before going to bed.   Nothing gets at what this Ring Dinger did.  My stretching routine has shortened considerably since my muscles are all loose now! I have also noticed that I am not exhausted throughout the day, needing caffeine to keep me awake any longer.  I also noticed some food sensitivities I had, have diminished greatly. I feel like Ponce De Leon, except I feel I discovered the real Fountain of Youth, a healthy spine.  My only complaint is you aren't in Florida!  I will be back to Dallas with my wife, Laura, sometime next year.  After watching my immediate improvements, she is ready to get the Ring Dinger. My nerve pain down the legs is gone, my disc pain is gone, and my overall resting pain is now a 0. When it was previously always at least a 7 before. Can’t recommend him enough, especially if you have a severe back injury, regular chiropractors won’t do the trick! As I’m sure you’ve already found. 10/10 recommend.Update 7 months later. It didn’t last, I am still getting back surgery. I even tried a round of stem cells after this, and it did nothing. I think this works if you live close enough to go consistently, maybe. He is patient and friendly and doesn’t rush through your medical history. His bedside manner is remarkable. My husband had been suffering from back pain for 15 years. Just for background, he is a stoic, strong, big man. His pain tolerance is high so when he complains I know it’s bad. I found Dr. Elahi on TikTok and immediately booked an appointment for my husband. The booking process was simple and didn’t ask for my credit card information. The lady at the front desk is very polite and friendly. I’m in physical therepy and have tried every wholistic approach I can find other than surgery and injections. My treatment was about a week ago and I have no change in my daily pain levels. I found this doctor to more concerned in reviews and his social media presence rather than my own health. As I have received 0 messages about how I was actually feeling, just multiple requests in leaving a review. The bedside manner felt like I was at “the joint” chiropractor. He asked a bunch of questions about my pain and injury and offered 0 professional opinions about my recovery options. Just a quick 10 min adjustment before the ring dinger for $300. I paid 3 times the price I’ve paid at other chiropractors who spent an hour doing dedicated hands on adjustments . I’m glad this works for some people, but to me it felt like a waste of money for the service, and his bedside manner was intimidating, he just kept telling me how sore I was going to be , which I’m sure is a liability technique… but it was making me nervous. I had an opportunity to have the "ring-dinger" chiropractic adjustment performed by Dr. Elahi at Advanced Chiropractic of Dallas, while on a recent business trip. This is Dr. Gregory Johnson's colloquial name for the full y-axis adjustment and spinal decompression technique he developed in 1981, in Houston, and has been perfecting since. Full disclosure... I'd wanted to do this for a long time, but had never had the opportunity. So, I was delighted to find that Dr. Elahi had trained under Dr. Johnson, is licensed to perform the technique, and has an office in Dallas. Although I've had chiropractic adjustments performed in the past, I've never experienced anything quite like this! It is as close as you can come to what I'll call a "spinal reset!" The sense of relief, the correction of my posture and my head carriage, the diminishment of related issues (a chronic issue with my shoulder for example), and the improvement to my gait and breathing, were unbelievable, virtually immediate, and have been long lasting. I found Dr. Elahi to be knowledgable and extremely competent, and both he and his assistant to be kind, professional and easy to deal with. Highly Recommended! Less
