I was very skeptical but willing to try anything that would help my back. Dr. Spence made no promises but fielded all my questions over multiple phone calls. I appreciated his candor, transparency, and patience. I knew this procedure might be a long, but I needed help so I went for it. My NP took great care of me and explained every procedure each time I went in. I made sure to follow the diet recommendations to a T and the added bonus was losing 20 pounds in 3 months. The icing on that cake was that just about 90-100 days after my first shot, I finally began to experience relief from my low back pain. Dr. Spence had said it would almost be as if I woke up one day and wondered where my pain went. That is what happened. I went from a daily 8-9 on the pain scale (getting to the point of unable to move, doubled over in pain, or almost vomiting by the mid-afternoon) to waking up in low level pain that stayed consistent. I still am careful about how I move and what I lift, etc., but my pain has only ever hit a 4 or so since that day I first experienced relief. Now I'm going on 2 months out since that day (6 months since my first shot), and I'm still holding strong. I just thank Dr. Spence so much for giving me relief.

I started out this experience with low expectations for myself and the response my body would have to the weight loss treatments. As a mother of 5 weighloss has been a thing for 15 years! Pros: 1. Stem cell therapy appears to have worked. Before xrays of my knee showed it to be bone- on- bone with lots of arthritis. After xray showed a definite separation between the bones and relief from the arthritis. 2. The extreme diet required actually helped in other health areas. I was able to go off all my diabetes meds and insulin and all my high blood pressure meds. Cons: 1. The initial consultation felt like a high powered sales pitch. Like it was more important to get a hold of my credit card 2. It is a large out of pocket expense, .not coveted by insurance. If I had not been retired and had access to my retirement fund, I could not have afforded it without taking out a loan.

I received stem cell therapy in March 2023 in my neck, right shoulder, lower back and left knee (in which I had a meniscus tear repaired in 2010). My neck was extremely stiff and I would hear a popping sound when turning my head from side to side. I had discomfort in my lower back and do have some scoliosis there. The stress level on my spinal nerves was at the highest level. With the stem cell therapy and PRP injections, as well as the chiropractic adjustments, all areas are much improved. I received good care and the confidence that Dr. Jahner wanted to improve the quality of my life. This did happen. I am pleased that I chose to go through with this treatment.

After years of having aching arthritis in my right shoulder, about 4 years ago the pain changed in character, becoming much more piercing and intense. I went to chiropractors for treatments but relief was only temporary. The pain continued to get worse and immobilized my arm to the point I couldn’t lift a glass. The pain became constant, around the clock, and continued to get so strong, I seriously considered ending my life. However, as I researched viable alternatives, stem cells seemed worth pursuing. Stem Cells for a tone meniscus. On day 3 I already felt an improvement in pain and mobility. By Month 3 I was a little disappointed that more healing has not been done. But the difference between month 4 and 6 was huge!!! I was back to surfing and running without pain. It’s been a significant improvement in knee function. My knee will probably never be the same before my injury, but I would say if I continue to keep it strong it functions at 95%. It’s been a real blessing. DO THE STEM CELL injections!
