This wasn’t what I had pictured in my head. Everything I thought “I knew” was completely erased. CrossFit was so much more. I moved to Florida alone and only knew one person. I had expressed this to the owner and he immediately, without thinking, invited me to their holiday party that weekend (after only being part of the gym for less than a week). It meant so much to me. Coach Coreys class is fantastic. He kept me motivated during the whole metcon. During the skills he was checking every aspect of my back squat. I recently moved to Florida to open a new market for my business and found myself out of shape, unmotivated and negative. I wasn’t looking for Crossfit ABF when I found them, but I am so glad I did! I stumbled upon a challenge they were having, and hoped it would give me the kick in the butt I needed to get back on track. I had a consultation with the owner, Ryan, and knew it was going to be a perfect fit. I was given a guide that taught me healthier eating habits, how to portion and how to meal prep. We got to choose 3 days a week to workout, and they were serious! Everyone at the gym is extremely friendly and encouraging so it made it a lot easier to push through when it was challenging. The coaches are amazingly helpful, and always paying attention to ensure we’re working out safely as well as effectively. It didn’t take long to become completely addicted to the lifestyle! I’ve not only gotten in great physical shape, but I’ve also gotten my drive and motivation back. My body and life has changed so much since I started, I absolutely cannot wait to see how much I can continue to grow and get better. Thank you so much to Ryan and everyone at the gym. Highly Recommended this gym. Great coaches!! Genuinely care for their members health and progression. I currently join the HIIT 6 week challenge and it's going great. They provide a meal prep guideline that its easy to follow and create. Awesome recipes as well. If you want to make a change in your in your life for the better, Join CrossFit ABF!!!

CrossFit is all the community and each one starts with the owner and coaches. Ryan McElhaney is one of the best I coaches and people around! He is an awesome athlete also so its always nice to see your coach tear up the WOD with the rest of the athletes. 5 Stars all day!

Great group of people who are very supportive, both inside and outside of the box. Great coaching and programming. I was initially so intimated to try CrossFit. Three years later, I can honestly say it has impacted my life in many ways - all for the better!

Ryan, the coach and owner, has great programming. He challenges each athlete, while recognizing where where each athlete is at physically, as well adjusting for any pains or injuries an athlete may have. It's a great group of peeps that work out at ABF. Check it out - you'll be glad you did!

I was so scared to try crossfit. I am not exactly fit or particularly sporty but Ryan makes you feel comfortable from the start and EVERYONE that is a part of this gym is incredibly welcoming and encouraging. It is intense and really hard work but you are getting a great workout. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

Don't tell him I said so, but Coach Ryan has changed my life. If you are hesitating to try Crossfit because you've heard it's dangerous, please know that every movement can be scaled, and Ryan always keeps an eye on form to minimize the possibility of injury. We have so much fun at this place that I don't even mind the burpees (too much).

Easily the best CrossFit option in Pinellas County.

By far my favorite gym in the area! I couldnt ask for a better group of people and a more engaging atmosphere to work out in. Great for drop ins and locals.
