I have never worked with a more unprofessional company than this one. Horrid communication. Between cancelling without a word, arriving 2-3 hours late, if at all, and lack of communication with multiple parties involved in our project, this was a nightmare. Not only would they read messages from a city inspector and never reply to them, but they also ignored messages from our contractor. They sent someone who seemed to lack experience to a complex job. The guy worked incredibly slowly and further damaged our ceiling while doing repair work. He cracked our ceiling in several (4-5 places) around our pendant lights. He also damaged the ceiling all around an existing recessed light fixture by pulling it up into place from the attic instead of placing it back carefully into place from below. So now we have drywall repairs to make in addition to finding an electrician that can finish the job competently. We had them out on several occasions and the job STILL isn't done. They have also claimed to do work that has NOT been done. I see all the 5 star reviews and I am just baffled. Maybe we caught them at a bad time, but we've been working with them for weeks at this point and if anything, the process/unprofessionalism/quality of work/lack of communication has only gotten worse. Avoid them if you can help it.

Larry Mckeever- straight up lied to me about video footage after one of his employees (Brad) and I was in an accident ... Brad was distracted by his 2 kids in a company vehicle and wasn't paying attention... Brad followed through with Mr Mckeever's lies and said no one was in the vehicle ... I absolutely would never do business with an Owner who has to lie to cover his own butt

Alex and Marcus did a great job adding a circuit and outlets for me in my garage. Alex took his time to explain his scope of work, was professional and thorough, and just a good person. Well, I was thinking about using this place. As I was checking it out while walking my dogs one of the employee's dogs attacked my dogs! Bit both of them viciously! The dog's owner didn't even try to help us! Selfish people work here Do NOT recommend. NOT safe.

i don’t recommend this place. Their employees dog bit my dog as I was on a walk with my family. They don’t put a leash on their dog and the manager said he would never leash it. Terrible service

This experience could not have been any smoother! I contacted McKeever & Niekamp Electric a few weeks ago to get an estimate for installing a fast EV charger in my home. The estimate was fast and accurate, communication was clear and regular, everything went exactly as I expected and hoped that it would. The electrician (Marcus) who came to my home to complete the installation was courteous and professional and did an exceedingly neat job. The charger was installed exactly as hoped and it works perfectly! The price was completely reasonable and I would recommend these electricians to anybody needing home or business work done.
