I love this studio, the teachers are all excellent, and I have learned so much from all of them. I love that it is not hot yoga, that there are many different times, and styles . Only downside is that at popular times the classes become too full and there seems to be no cap on the limit so you can end up hitting others and not able to do a full pose. This is a fabulous studio. A huge range of classes, experienced instructors, and a welcoming community. I especially enjoy the spiritual side of yoga and Shala holds space not just for asana practice but also for Bhakti, kirtan, meditation, and more. Five stars.

A return to my roots, after years of hot yoga and Vinyasa flow, I recently started doing HATHA yoga again in the 29 day challenge at Shala Yoga. Diamond is an incredible teacher for this slower paced but strengthening class where you are faced with your Self, a calm inner stillness and grounding. Namaste 🙏

I’ve been practicing yoga for years in different countries and continents. I feel blessed to be able to find a place that supports my spiritual growth. Shala is an ambient place for practicing yoga, and it is much more than a studio for me; it’s my home. The team is both professional and passionate about teaching. The classes are much more than a bunch of random practitioners.

Shala Yoga teaches you what yoga really is and integrates physical, mental, and spiritual practices, such as breathwork, meditation, chanting, and philosophy into its asana practice. What I love most about Shala is that when you walk through the door it feels like nirvana. You’re greeted with warm smiles, the staff are extremely kind and encouraging, the studio is always clean and organized, and the energy is peaceful and serene. I could go on and on, you’ll just have to experience it for yourself! <3 Less

I've enjoyed all my classes at this yoga studio! This has continued now with new owners. Great teachers in a light filled, calm space. Quite a diverse offering to the Squamish community, too. I am new to yoga and was convinced to drop in to a restorative class. I was intimidated at first but it felt relaxing and easy to follow and was exactly what I needed and certainly will be back. It felt like experienced people enjoyed it and I was given one on one attention when needed. Nice space and wonderful staff

What a disappointment! I was passing through Squamish and dropped in for a class. Not sure if they are short of good yoga teachers in Canada but this was awful and I'm pretty sure it was the owner of the studio as well. Don't waste your time. Sad.

Attended the Vinyasa class today and had to ask if I was in the right class. This class started with abs and strange movements that were supposed to be a warm-up. I had to really pay attention to the instructor's very convoluted descriptions and ended up not aware of my breathing at all. Not a good class and not sure about any of the other instructors.
