We were in town for a hockey tournament and decided to visit this gym. They were above top notch! I have been a member of Iron Flag for several months and I have learned to love coming to the gym. This is no small feat, since I am 61 years old, and I can honestly say I have never felt that before. I belonged to a different gym that closed late summer and I was looking for a place that would push me. I didn't even know what Crossfit was. But co-owner, Kelly, really impressed me with her intelligent questions about my health history, and Ioved how many women coaches there were at the gym, and felt the place had a great, down to earth vibe. I now attend weekday at 6:30 a.m. classes religiously and usually go to a class on the weekends. They will scale to your level and encourage you at the same time. I also thought I ate well (no flour, no sugar, and no alcohol), but I am working with co-owner Jared on my nutrition and upping my energy level and mental clarity. I've seen material improvements in my overall strength, flexibility and cardio. I've since enrolled both my sons in the sports performance training and they are seeing gains as well. Have been going for 3 months and getting in much better shape

This place is great. I’m new to CrossFit and was afraid. They have an Elements class so you know what you are doing before you start. The coaches are so amazing, and the owners make it seem like they’ve known you forever. It definitely feels like a family here. I was told I had to have knee surgery 10 years ago. I went the physical therapist way first because I know once you do the surgery, you have to re-do it every 5 years! Walk up stairs, etc. I started working out with the BEST trainer I have ever had, Guy Petruzzelli! He is a pro triathlete. I have been working out since I can remember. I LOVE weight lifting!!! And because of the arthritis (I thought) I could NEVER do a squat again. However, Guy taught me the correct way to do a squat. I recently did 6 sets of 200 pounds! I know I can do more! He did not want to push me too much. I was talking to another young woman at CrossFit, and she was running a 10 minute mile before working with Guy. She is now at 8:40 in a matter of two months running a 5K!!! I am blown away by Kelly who runs the place and ALL the instructors. However, I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED A TRAINER LIKE GUY!!! Less

Terrific workout, very efficient. You get a lot done in a 55-60 workout. Joe is outstanding! Will comeback each time I'm in Westmont.

I called Iron Flag and went on their website looked at the workouts,photos along with the price that was close to my Lifetime membership. It's been one of the best experiences of my life. I never thought I could see these type of results- I’ve lost inches in the waist & gained a ton of strength & muscle. I can honestly say this is a lifestyle change that has dramatically improved my quality of life. The people who go here are the real reason this is place has made me so successful. They push you.
