Got take out here on 1/29/26, it had been a while.It had been TOO LONG.Got a Tamal and a Steak Chimi.The Tamal was perfectly simple and perfectly prepared. I was blown away, and wish I'd gotten more than one.The Steak Chimi was BETTER.Friends have always told me they felt this place has the best "authentic" Mexican food on the West side, and some of those friends are chefs.I don't know that I am qualified to judge that, so I'll just say:Colerain is a big street with a lot of restaurants.It is a big street with a lot of restaurants that are several steps behind Los Panchos.The cherry on top is that the prices are excellent, actually spectacular when you judge the value of the food.Stop and check it out, its nice inside, too.

I've had takeout about 3 times this week, might I add that this Villa Salad has hit the spot! Hot and good, satisfied my hunger and I have some left to take home and eat later. Their drinks are banging and the service is excellent.

A lovely extended family own and operate this place. You will come here and feel cared for. Count on it!If you know Mexican cuisine by region they have the flavors of Jalisco. If you will be disappointed if it doesn't taste like Baja or Tex-Mex, try another place. Otherwise you'll love what they offer.I had the Famous Mexican Salad, a unique and beautiful presentation. It came with honey mustard in the center and a small container of ranch. Ranch I can live without. I would have asked for more honey mustard instead if I'd known what was coming.
