But she also has very in depth knowledge of sports science and didnt prescribe antiquated movements, instead I was provided information on recent and relevant science and practices. It made a huge difference. An example would be when I would send an athlete to Dr. Alex she would begin an assessment by asking them to lay face down and use only their glute (prime mover in big athletic motions like jumping/sprinting/tackling) to lift their leg off the table. Well due to either injury or too much sitting down there would be an issue and the leg wouldnt lift very high..but after the hip adjustment she would re-test and the glute would fire so hard the athlete would nearly fling himself off the table. The athletes Dr. Alex would practice on were big time play makers (Black College Football Player of the Year/ Offensive Player of the Year ) and she kept them healthy and off the surgeons table. Went here after a girl in my office recommended them after her car accident. they really helped her. I was in pain from herniated desk so I decided to try them. thank goodness I did. I went from needing surgery to no surgery and no more pain. They were not in my network but I did not care. I rather pay a little more for good health. I love the place. I was very skeptical about chiropractor services but when one of friends raved about how much it helped ,I decided to check Peak Health and Wellness. I learnt a lot and started my treatment promptly. More than anything my confidence was hugely restored that if I look into this treatment as suggested it will benefit me tremendously.That it did and is still ongoing. I have been able to stop taking a Tylenol or pain pill that I would when I was in pain due to my sciatica and back pain. I am very relieved through the very sweet and gentle attitude of both doctors at Peak. I highly recommend them as I see how much they care about their patients. I wish I had known about Peak sooner when I had suffered a 6 week sciatica problem.Never wish for that to happen ever again. I went through my pregnancy and took my newborn daughter only a few days after she was born. Subsequently I decided to take my toddler as well. Dr. Freedman is great and it's wonderful going to a place that is definitely a family-oriented practice. My back and neck feel much better and my kids have been feeling great as well. When I came in last August I could barely walk and was bent over with severe hip pain in my left hip and pains in my inner left thigh and low back. With treatment I can walk standing tall and only have to use my cane for walking longer distances. On Many days, I am pain free. I continue to receive treatment to improve and maintain. Awes... More
