Large clean gym. Kevin is easily the most thorough, detailed coach I've worked with having been at a few gyms in the state. Coach Joshua Radke is a fun-loving badass who teaches some incredibly useful techniques and his warm ups are great for learning specific sequences and situations. He's also just a funny dude in general. Coach Eldis (who does the competition class) is the perfect person to keep you on your toes while pushing your endurance to the limit. If you're planning on competing in BJJ, you're in great hands with him. If you're just looking to test your endurance and get in shape, you're still in great hands with him. The kids' program is the largest I've seen, which means that they're doing something right to keep normally hyper and distractible humans interested and enthusiastic. If you know what to expect when training BJJ and are looking to challenge your body, mind, and fighting spirit, this is the place to be. They also have kickboxing classes here too, which are great, but sadly the time of day they take place at means I'm not usually able to make them. Best place I've trained bjj at in the west Michigan area. Facility is nice and kept clean. The instructors are always helpful and kind, for both day one beginners and experienced students. Unlike some schools, all students are cared about and given attention, not just students who compete. I couldn't imagine training and developing my jiu jitsu anywhere else.
