I believe Drew, the owner, does the planning himself and the training content is quite good like you wouldn’t feel bored or repetitive. The daily agendas never really repeated themselves. What really brought my experience to a higher level compared to other gyms was the peers I worked out with — they were always nice, patient, and professional. It’s that kind of group who you would feel obliged to further connect with even in a long-term perspective. They do organize and host some events as a part of their community operations strategy which really helps with engaging and bonding customers. For example, I know they had the open-day and anniversary events while I was there. Facility-wise I think Pendulum is one of the most spacious cross-fit gyms I have seen in the area and the staffs seem to have maintained it well so far. The coaches I have worked with (in class and semi-privates) have all been very focused on form and teaching the movements safely, as opposed to lifting super heavy or doing the most reps until you throw up. This is something I completely appreciate, especially after a really bad shoulder injury (different sport) in the past. The accountability from my coach is invaluable and I abso-freakin-lutely credit all my "gainzzz" to her. The gym is always well maintained; clean, equipment in excellent condition, free fancy water, lockers/cubbies, lounge area, local coffee pop ups. The space is huge and airy, even when it's hot outside. And they have plenty of parking (their own lot and street parking) in a nice neighborhood. I appreciate the trainers taking the time to teach each movement correctly. While working on the movements with the weight training they correct my motions to make sure I move correctly and don't injure myself. Terrible owner, He charged me 3000 dollars for personal training sessions, in the second week, I have some budget problems, so I need to modify the plan, but the owner said the agreement was 6000 dollars comes with 36 personal training sessions, they only thing he can do is cancel my membership and cancel all of my classes. No refund, So, my 3000 dollars gone and my session is gone as well.

I have been training at Pendulum for the last five years and love everything about it. All members are welcoming and always ready to give a hand to everyone in need. The staff is very professional from the very knowledgeable coaches to the caring owners. I have seen this place grow over the years and I’m happy to call it my second home. The workout are always challenging and if you follow the program you will get amazing results. I can tell you that because I am 49 years old, and my back squat is 425 pounds, deadlift 440, bench 275, clean 255, do more than 30 unbroken toes-to-bar, run a 6 minute mile, etc etc etc. And the best part is that as I am “aging” I am still improving in everything I do. You can tell I’m proud of myself but it wouldn’t be possible without a well thought program. I just need to show up and give my best effort. A great space to workout, improve one's fitness levels and learn crossfit. Staff is very accomodating to each member's fitness levels and would adjust workouts accordingly if needed. Staff members are also very approachable and this is one of the few places where i never felt intimidated to ask questions . I am not an exercise fan at all. I did a six week intro course here in November 2018 and have been coming to the gym ever since. It has helped with my balance, my strength and my well being. I am older than most here, overweight, out of shape and have some health and balance issues so I was a bit reluctant. Drew is my Classic Class coach and he is most supportive of my health challenges and is working to help me overcome them. When I started I couldn't do the jump rope at all. They started me out just jumping and moving my hands to imitate the jump rope. The first time I used the jump rope and did it 7 times in a row!! That might not seem like much to you, but to me it was a miracle. Now I am up to 50 times without stopping - amazing. Everyone who attends the class are very nice and supportive. You have athletes working alongside the regular folks and there is no judgement. During my first few weeks I was last in doing my number of rounds. When I ran my last 100-meters, the entire class ran with me even though they had already finished their workout. That made my day! I just had my 6 months at Pendulum and have lost 15 pounds and 2 inches. Better than that, I gained confidence, stamina, energy, I am stronger and am able to do things I never thought I could do again. My health is better, my balance is better, I feel better than I have in years. Don't be shy if you have health issues and think you can't do this type of training. This is the place for you, the coaches will work you through it and adjust the workout so you can succeed. You will learn the proper way to do exercise so you won't hurt yourself. I've been coming to Pendulum since August 2017, and they welcomed me with open arms. I've done weight training for 10+ years now, but I'd noticed my strength was good, but my stiffness and mobility was becoming restricted, even with an active job such as mine. After just a few months at Pendulum, I feel great. Drew, George, Jenn and Dario are always supportive and pushing you to achieve more. Even when you're a crumpled heap on the floor, fighting for breath, they'll encourage you to keep moving. The facility keeps expanding, new faces keep arriving every week, and the competitive spirit is alive and well. I can't think of too many "101" Crossfitters who complete the 101 classes and don't enroll in a full membership. My son comes with me all the time, and there's a small play room for children. Joining CrossFit Pendulum has dramatically changed my life! It's not just about working out, it's about relationship and encouraging one another to live a healthier life style. I am always so excited to see what our Work Out of The Day is going to be and I am continually surprised by how far I have come and what I have achieved in such a small amount of time. The fact that we always have a new work out every day that is put together and taught by experienced and educated trainers is fantastic. The quality of one-on-one attention that all of us get is beyond compare. It is amazing to me that we have the advantage of having a personal trainer right beside us, cheering us on and helping us become more skilled athletes, without having to pay hundreds upon hundreds of dollars. I have only been attending CrossFit Pendulum for two months and my clothes are looser, I am stronger than I have ever been in my life and I am accomplishing goals I never even thought were possible, like back squatting more than my own body weight. I actually get excited about working out. It is not a chore or a hassle. It is a blessing and the best part of my day.
