I've been lifting weights at traditional chain gyms for more than 20 years. I always wanted to try CrossFit, but was a little intimidated by it (especially since I'm quite shy and generally stay away from group fitness). Royal City was recommended by a friend, so I joined to give it a try--and I'm so glad I did! The workouts are incredibly challenging, but still accessible to anyone based on their individual fitness level. Everyone is super friendly, and the coaches make a point to learn everyone's name. Really glad I made the switch to Royal City! I can't imagine going back to a chain gym after going to RCCF.

I joined RCCF a little over a year ago at the recommendation of friends. I had never tried CrossFit before but was looking to try something new. I Got hooked early. This gym has a fantastic community, something I didn’t know I was looking for. The coaches are amazing and the atmosphere is great. Thanks RCCF!

CrossFit Light has given me a functional fitness level beyond my wildest dreams! The RCCF Community is so welcoming, and the knowledgeable coaches motivate us to reach our fitness goals in a safe but fun way. Each move is reviewed, demonstrated and presented with a variety of scaled options which makes them accessible to everyone. I started at RCCF a few months ago and couldn’t be happier to be a member! Everyone is so welcoming and after being a member at a few other gyms the welcoming vibe is unmatched.The coaches are patient and amazing at breaking down the steps needed in each workout. As someone with dyslexia, I’ve never felt judged and I am so grateful for the extra coaching throughout the workouts. The space is clean and it’s nice to feel I’m getting stronger! Thank you RCCF!! After 3 years of no real physical activity and relocating during the pandemic, I decided to join RCCF in March 2023 after moving to Guelph. I can't recommend this place more - the coaches are engaging and really care about your form and your progression, helping you nail movements and work on incremental progression. As with most CrossFit boxes, the community is welcoming and supportive, whether you're a newbie or a seasoned veteran. I would give 6 stars if I could.

RCCF has been one of my favourite places to go to for the past 8 years. The coaches and the community are amazing! The training and time spent here has not only improved my physical fitness, but also my overall health. Truly!
