Absolutely fantastic people. I crashed my beloved 2005 Acura RSX-S, my first car ever and one that still has great sentimental value to me. In a nutshell, I had a freak accident in which the handbrake slipped and the car rolled downhill into a utility box. The bumper and rear quarter panel were pretty trashed, and I was honestly pretty bummed. I took it to several shops and was basically told the car was too old, parts weren't available, the repair wouldn't be possible, etc. Finally, after scouring reviews, I brought it to Wilmar at Bridge Motors based on a few reviews that indicated he was willing to work on older vehicles. I couldn't have made a better choice. Not only did Wilmar readily agree to do the repair, he was able to find parts to replace the irreparable bumper cover, and restored the damaged quarter panel to perfection. He somehow also managed to do all this work for a very reasonable price, and in under two weeks. He also buffed out some scratches I had gotten in unrelated incidents, and I don't think he even charged for that! I got the car back today and it looks nearly new again - better than it has in ages. Family-owned, I think Bridge Motors is one of the best body shops in Portland. They earned my greatest respect because they didn’t compromise customer service. Along with expert workmanship, kindness and understanding is mentioned in many of the other reviews. Other shops couldn’t get me in for months, or wouldn’t help me because my twice stolen car was too old. Thankfully, I was referred to Bridge Motors and Wilmar took my car in that day. I’m in my 70’s and Wilmar took care of me beyond all of my expectations. This happened during a difficult time in my life. My insurance ‘totaled’ the car. Nonetheless, Wilmar helped me out with transportation, navigating the insurance settlement, and he continued to support me while I was out looking for a used car to buy. This was above and beyond. I met almost all of the staff, and they are highly experienced, unquestionably honest and truly made me feel they had my best interest at heart. Work was done promptly and well on an old car at a fraction of the cost that other body shops were asking. After initial discussion and agreement, they took an approach to repair that was appropriate for an older vehicle, i.e. fix what needs to be fixed but don’t waste money trying to make it look exactly like new. Wilmar and his team do amazing work. My car was destroyed after a garbage truck swiped it during a routine trash pickup, and I thought it wasn’t salvageable, but they somehow made it look brand new.
