There’s so many great things to say about GB Upland that I don’t know where to start. It’s become a place where I get to grow personally while making friends along the way and getting to help others in their bjj journey. The school is clearly focused on creating a team, not every man for himself like other gyms can feel. Don’t worry about being nervous when starting, the school breaks the curriculum down in a way that makes learning the sport/self defense very doable for anyone. At the same time, if you want a difficult challenge there’s plenty of classes for that; learning from some of the best in the sport. I came here to learn the sport/self defense, but ended up with so much more on AND off the mats.
