Really bad smell of sewerage as entering male side of toilets/along the front side of toilet block.Camp kitchen - Decent set up, sink, 2 BBQ plates, some pots/pans/plates couple of tables, lounge chair and TV set up. Could do with a fan for the really hot days.Pool - Biggest disappointment of the trip. Our kids were looking forward to using the slide that is advertised on the website - the slide is non existent.There are also 0 shade sails over the pool, the only shade we were able to use is our own beach umbrella set up.For the first half of our trip, we literally couldn't see anything further than 20cms away from our face through the murky water in the pool, let alone the bottom of the pool. There were several band aid wrappers along the outside of the pool. By the second half of our trip, the pool had been cleaned and we were then able to see the bottom clearly. I understand that through busy periods, pool maintenance must be more difficult as there are many kids/people jumping in and out with sunscreen/bug spray and whatever else applied, but surely this is known to happen, and could possibly be prevented by some extra salt/cleaning to be done through those busy periods?Bar/Cafe - Good food, Good beer, Good prices. Only certain meals each night. We went 3 nights. Chicken schnitzel and chips $20. Supreme pizza $20. Burger and chips $12General maintenance - Could definitely do with some more regular work, overgrown grass (was mowed towards the end of our stay). Pool maintenance definitely needs to be priority during peek periods.Safety - upon plugging in our power cord, the entire plastic power box snapped at the bottom. The box was almost completely broken before hand and with the slightest of pressure put on the top by plugging in cords, it finished the job. As this happened after office hours on Friday afternoon, I reported it first thing in the morning (after tying the power box to a pole with rope, to keep it from falling onto the ground and exposing wires). The bloke I reported this issue to, already knew the box was broken and didn't seem too fussed about coming to fix it. It went unfixed, or even looked at for the next 7 days of our stay, when we left Friday morning, my rope was the only thing still holding this power box upright. Very poor and disappointing.Boat ramp - was able to launch and retrieve my 5.5m boat 3hrs each side of hightide. Water not accessible by ramp/boat at low tides. Less

Reception/store was a disaster. She couldn’t find keys. The pool was cloudy, you couldn’t see past 30cm, even after they replaced a broken sand filter. No water slide, or shade sails, just scum and broken furniture.Black mould & spiders/webs throughout the amenities (no response from management when I emailed). Long grass & really stinky bins. And the mosquitoes - holy heck! No bug spray worked. We all look like we have chicken pox. Would have packed up and left if it weren’t for our big group. Absolute ideal location for the keen fisherman with a boat! While the beach or lack there of is definitely nothing to write home about. The park was really disappointing. There used to be a slide.. but only ruminants remain. A rusty old frame is the view ... don't use the photos online.. I am unsure how old they are. But they are not a true reflection. The staff member at reception when we arrived was disinterested at best. During our stay the tap us (and 3 others) were using had rusted so bad it just snapped off... spraying water everwhere. Was reported immediately...wasn't until the following day it was "fixed". A complete lack of general maintenance. Perhaps too much work for the current owners alone. With a little (or a lot) of TLC.. this could be a nice spot. On the plus side.. the sites are roomy, and was great not having heaps of people on top of you. It was an ok place to stay definitely deceived by the pics on its website . Camp kitchen fairly decent toilets clean showed hot. We were quoted a price but it was more when we arrived and I was told that the price changes daily.? There were Ppl who had the same amount of Ppl and charged differently. When I asked if they had an after hours check in process, as pretty much every other campsite we've ever stayed at has, they proceeded to lie again and tell me they can't do it due to regulations... if every other campground can do it then regulations are not the reason they wouldn't do it, their laziness was the reason - the owner just didn't want to go out of their way or get out of bed. When I asked what they wanted me to do as they were our accommodation for the night they advised me of a free camp 30mins from them... they left a young family with an infant with no accommodation for the night mere hours before we were supposed to arrive. I was offered no apology and was greeted with rudeness when I asked for a full refund. What's worse is the owner made his receptionist call and say all this to me, all the while I can hear him in the background telling her what to say... worst business I have EVER had the displeasure of having to deal with. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place AT ALL COSTS! Less

Lovely park located on the waters edge. Great for fishing and just relaxing away from the Hussel and Bussel of every day life.

Was only visiting family here but found it very nice. Lots of families clean not alot of noise. Nice pool area and close to the beach.
