I’ve had an outstanding experience with South Tampa Cardiology and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, thorough cardiac care.From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted with kindness and warmth, which is incredibly comforting when you’re already feeling anxious about your health. The office is exceptionally clean, modern, well-organized, and runs very efficiently. Even though it’s a busy practice with many staff members, I never once felt rushed.Every technician, nurse practitioner, and physician I’ve interacted with has taken the time to truly listen to my concerns. They asked thoughtful questions, had excellent bedside manner, and made me feel like my symptoms and experiences mattered. Rather than dismissing my concerns or rushing through the appointment, they were genuinely committed to understanding what was going on and finding answers.One thing I especially appreciated was how comprehensive my evaluation has been. They recommended a thorough workup and explored multiple possibilities instead of taking a “wait and see” approach. As a patient, it’s incredibly reassuring to know your care team is doing everything they can to identify the root cause of your symptoms.Another huge advantage is that many of the diagnostic tests can be completed right in the office. Being able to have so much done in one location made the process far more convenient and less stressful. Their scheduling team has also been wonderful—friendly, responsive, and very helpful when it came to rescheduling appointments and finding earlier availability. They were also transparent about insurance coverage and what to expect throughout the process.Overall, this practice has exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a cardiology team that is compassionate, knowledgeable, thorough, and truly patient-centered, I can’t recommend South Tampa Cardiology highly enough.

My second time going for a CT scan. The first time I went was April 2025 and I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. The 2nd time was last week, and the lobby was SO full patients were having to sit outside. I waited over 40 minutes before they brought me back. My nurse was so sweet but had a hard time hitting my vein, after I got home I saw she didn't go in through the normal area of the inside arm, but more on my forearm...which explained all of the discomfort I had (maybe this is normal, I've just never had anyone place an IV on that spot on my arm). Everyone who works there appears to be very pleasant and kind to all of the patients.

Waited 15 minutes to get started, which is mot bad for medical offices these days. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The radiology staff were very nice and explained the procedure well. The tasks were accomplished efficiently and safely.

I saw a story on the news about Dr. Morales and South Tampa Cardiology. It highlighted his philosophy of prevention and a CTA scanner at the office that uses far less radiation than traditional CTA scanners with clearer imaging. I asked my old cardiologist about it and he said it was all marketing and all CTA scanners are the same. I researched it and learned that wasn’t true. I scheduled an appointment, and quickly knew I was changing cardiologists. With a strong family history and high CT score, Dr. Morales’ office ran a battery of tests and set aggressive goals to minimize my chances of having a cardiac event. They took their time to listen to my questions/ concerns, and clearly explained my treatment plan to lower my LDL far below the level my old cardiologist was OK with. If you’re looking for a proactive approach to your health care this is the place for you. Very satisfied.

Yesterday, I had an Echo of my heart and whatever else it does. Angel did the test on me and she is very nice to everyone and a happy person. She makes you feel comfortable and accommodating to you. The front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. I am glad to be a patient there.
