When i started physical therapy at Avila I could only walk with a cane & with a limp for short periods of time. On my last therapy appointment I am able to walk without either one. I continue to walk and my friends on several conversations told me it was amazing how improved I had become. The staff at Avila is professional, well educated in PT and always concerned for how I felt each day. The front desk employees always worked to give me the dates & times I needed. To start I had a lot of pain in my left knee with a possible torn meniscus, my doctor recommended physical therapy and sent me here. If I could give more stars I would, everyone was so kind and gracious, I worked with multiple PTs in this building and all of them were great. Brett was the main one I worked with and he was such a treat to see every week, he made me feel very comfortable, I never felt like a nuisance to him. I was there 2 days a week for 6-7 weeks and I felt so much better by the end of it, no more pain sleeping or walking up the stairs, I could actually work without having to ice my knee when I get home, it’s been so nice to be able to do everyday things with out pain. Thanks Brett and the Avila team!

I have been going here for 7 months when I started I had a hard time walking and moving my neck and right arm. These people are great I can now walk a mile and my arm and neck are so much better I thought I was going to have to have surgery or be in pain killers the rest of my life. Zach and all the techs there are wonderful. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a problem that you need physical therapy. I never felt pushed or rushed. There very kind and professional. This is my 2nd time using Avila. I cannot say enough good things about them. Zach is an amazing physical therapist, although his DJ skills could use some work (pirate shantys...LOL). Kara is amazing, and pushed me to my limits in a good way, all while keeping me entertained with a good conversation. Sam is also amazing. I didn't work with the other PT/PTAs but they all seemed equally as good. Mia and Valerie always greet you with a smiling face. I almost didn't want to finish because I would miss all of them!!

I had a great experience with Avila. My therapist was Dr. Erika Good but I had interactions with the rest of the staff and they were all helpful. I started out slowly so I could see improvement. I particularly appreciated the home exercises that evolved as I improved. I now have the means to stay well. Above all I am grateful that Erika not only tolerated but encouraged my many questions.This is my second time to use Avila PT. I am every bit as pleased as the first time This time I worked with Dr. Kristy Correia and with Kara Dierschke. I started with what I thought was an injury to one shoulder but further evaluation showed it to be arthritis in both shoulders. When I started I had trouble picking up things or stirring a batter with my right arm and my under used left arm wasn't much help. I can do all kinds of things now. And I have learned coping mechanisms for the things that are still hard. It was a long process and they were so patient, gradually adding to the difficulty level of my exercises. Best of all I have a home program to follow. I am very grateful for their help.

I have what is referred to as a frozen shoulder. The staff at Avila have been extremely kind and helpful in helping me rehabilitate to get functional mobility again. I started with lots of pain and week by week it’s slowly disappearing.
