VIP Fit Club has been a great environment for working out with friendly people and staff! My girlfriend and I enjoy the facility very much. The gym is kept very clean and so are the machines. Colin is very helpful with any questions and always has a welcoming attitude!

I especially like how there are plenty of mirrors surrounding the free weight area so that you can check your form. If there was one thing I wish they had that they didn't have when I was there, it would be lighter barbell plates with an 18 inch diameter form factor. They had light plates, down to 2.5 lbs, but they all had varying diameters, with only the heaviest plate being the full 18 inches. As a beginner lifter, I couldn't deadlift from the floor from the proper starting position because I wasn't deadlifting 135 in my routine yet. That small grievance aside, though, I greatly enjoyed being there. The gym was very clean, and the music being played was enjoyable but not overbearing. The two owners seem to come by every so often, The women trains her clients at the new location. If you follow the social media pages it seems that are discounts for memberships. This is a great gym for those getting started with working out, and or are shy about learning. It is usually empty, and not many people show up in the early AMs and the after work PMs. The Bad: There aren't any Barbells. This gym is seems is more focused on toning than making any sort of personal records. There aren't squat racks or power racks of any sort. (The old gym down the road used to have this.) It seems that the gym has converted to more of a personal training setup, or toning. It seems that the owners are pushing more of a training class setup, which utilizes the old building (even during renovations). The So-So: There is a lack of accessories and bands for other movements. If you plan on working with bands of any sort, you must bring your own. Accessories for the pull down machine seem to be accessories from the old location. If you plan on working out here you will need your own music, as it seems that they do not play music, and if they do it seems to be a weird mix. Final Thoughts: The direction entirely seems unclear. I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone looking for a intermediate+, but I'd recommend it to those starting out, or wanting to be introduced into working out. For those who are wanting to do the big three and accessories I'd shy away from this place. I hope to see this gym improve, and have a more sense of direction. I joined VIP fitness less than a month ago and I can say that I adore it. It's clean, quiet and you get that personal touch that you don't at the major fitness places. When I came to VIP I was having trouble with my left knee after arthroscopic surgery to remove a torn meniscus. After describing the symptoms to Colin, he helped show me how I might improve. These suggestions really helped get me walking with much less pain. I'm still progressing, and plan on continuing with these as well as some other suggestions for other sports activities I participate in.

Physically it is one thing - but mentally it is another...Through it all Colin Vega (owner) and his fantastic fiancé Sheryl, have encouraged and been there with a smile or just a "how are you doing today?" I joined VIP with my daughter and when have had a great time and are seeing results. The night we first went to see the place there was a boot camp classes going on and we both knew then that it was the place us. Everyone immediately made us feel like part of the the family. We found that VIP offered a clean welcoming environment that allows for all levels of fitness to train... from the serious lifting of a college athlete, to our more modest, but intense workouts. all the classic equipment needed to get into great shape is there. Plenty of free weights and dumbells to max out with and I never have to wait for a weight (no pun intended.... well yes I did intend the pun and found it rather clever haha) We shopped around for price and found VIP to be the best value. We meet all kinds of people at all kinds of fitness levels at VIP and the one characteristic that is shared by all of them is a friendly willingness to encourage and share knowledge. During the course of our 2 years, I have come to know and respect the owner... he's a veteran and a man of the highest character and integrity. The staff has always been helpful and respectful and have answered any questions I had with an obvious knowledge of the subject. I read the 1 star review written by "Janice Beck" and wished I could write a direct response to that person but Google will not let me so let me say that her complaints are wholly unfounded and without merit. Obviously a person with a personal ax to grind and it is NOT a true reflection of what VIP is about. Unfortunately, Google allows anyone to say anything they want even if there is no veracity to their claims... it is one of the sad pitfalls of the anonymity of the internet. This place is $70+ for 24/7 access AND classes!! The competition is always bad-mouthed saying "They're stealing my ideas". How unprofessional! The worst part about it is they go through trainers like a seasonal fashion trend. The place has only been open 3 years and have gone through several trainers. They just got rid of one of their best trainers that the members all loved because it was "best for the business". Worst of wall, I was nervous at the thought of even walking into a gym, for fear of judgement and my appearance. I didn’t think I could change. Notice, I have said WAS, because NOW, after only 3 weeks, I feel so confident with myself. Everyone in this gym comes in different ages and body types with one goal: to exercise, no matter what. And the atmosphere is one of encouragement and persistence. Colin has become my trainer and my friend and the people I work out with, a family away from home. My body is becoming toned, I have energy, I can breathe! Yesterday, I ran 4 miles in just over 40 minutes. Though that may be slow to some, a month ago, I couldn't even jog for 15 minutes without feeling like I could keel over. I was hesitant at paying $80 per month (you can go only $20 if you want), because of my miserly sense of being. But, how much money do we spend on things that neither help us or benefit us? How much money do we spend out, in our homes, on our cars? The best tool you will ever own is your body, and it’s wellbeing holds no price tag. Turn yourself around, it’s not too late. This is by far my favorite place to lift! I haven't tried the classes but as far as lifting goes great place! Run by some of the classiest people and has a family atmosphere that you won't find anywhere else! If your looking for a gym around the Macedon area check it out I highly recommend it!

I like the circuit training, works lots of different muscles while your heart rate is up, short stints at a great variety of workout stations, and it changes every class so you don't burn out. Great group of trainers, very supportive, people are nice and helpful.

I've been going to VIP for a few weeks now and love it! I'm not a very self-motivating person when it comes to working out, so having a training there to push me all the time is super helpful! It's definitely helping me get stronger and more toned. (I'm training as a collegiate athlete for lacrosse!)
