After hitting my heaviest at almost 200 during the COVID shutdown and seeing how I was now at risk for more severe consequences because of my weight, I looked to this practice to show me a different, and hopefully final way to be healthy.  I lost 31 pounds at the end of my program and have seen huge improvements in every facet of my life. I started this program back in September.Im a little shy of 2 months in. In 2016 I was in a car accident which left me with multiple herniated discs in my neck and back. I was also having insomnia and on medication for it as well. I tried to go to the gym and work out as hard as I could expecting to see the results for my hard work. Every time I went for a Doctor appointment and was asked my weight,I would lie and say I weigh less. It got to the point where my Dr made me get on the scale 1 day and that’s when I truly hit rock bottom. I was 26 years old with 309 pounds and high cholesterol. My Dr referred me to a surgeon and I was completely hopeless. I threw away the referral because I refused to have surgery. I came across Dr Goodman’s program through my significant other. His biggest fear was I wouldn’t live long enough to be around. When I first met Janet and Dr Goodman I was very skeptical (possibly their most skeptical patient EVER).
