My Mom spent her last days here in peace and with no complaints. My brother was oppressed to her moving here but she told me that I did a go job moving her here. Now that she has passed, I’m glad that I moved her here- she was content.

Both homes were clean and there were lots of activities, planned for the residents. I didn't get the feeling the residents were just plopped in from of the TV all day. This home is the most pleasant and lovable. They are friendly and explain their house rules and routine. My family member is so happy and that makes me happy. The house is always clean and never have I smelt a bad odor. She enjoys the games and activity times. I highly recommend this house as one of the best homes I have ever been

One of the hardest decisions I had to make was accepting that a loved one needed the kind of care I was not equipped to provide. The second hardest decision was finding a place that would care for her in a compassionate manner. That is what I found on Esther’s Place (Montebello location). What lured me to Esther’s Place was that it was founded by two nurses which led me to believe they’ve seen some things and wanted to make positive changes. My aunt and I were gently guided through the process and the transition was seamless. The AMAZING staff has special relationships with each resident. The residence is consistently clean, and the residents are cared for and always smiling. More importantly, it feels like a home and not an institution. I have gained an extended family. Praise God! I thank God for these folks who did a tremendous job of keeping Mary J comfortable. The owner, Leslie, was always helpful. We never had any issues. Anytime I had a question, she responded promptly. I was always impressed. It's a small home; that's why they can be more attentive to their patients. I was in a crisis situation when I chose this place. I had every intention of moving my mother. After assessing the pros and cons, the level of care she received surpassed any inconvenience of my traveling to the city. After telling my mother about moving, I found that she absolutely did not want to leave Esther's. Thank you so much to the dedicated people who work here. I never worried about my mother's care. Resident fees go into staffing and employees rather than paint, artwork, and aesthetics. Pretty pictures will not help your loved one get to the bathroom, but proper staff will. Esther's Place keeps the place clean and tidy without the glamour others offer and they take care of job one, the resident's needs. Esther's Place is also far more affordable than others. Don’t ever send a loved one here. A staff member identified as a med tech was sleeping on another patients bed. When confronted about why he was sleeping he got mad and said I was rude.

Ester's Place at the Park is as special place. They can take care of medically complex clients well. I placed a couple there who had been at different rehabs for months. Esther place suck .if it was the last place on earth to send my parents .i b.c. would let the pass .they dont cares for the clients. They all for the money . Someone these to call the health department on them it diry an nasty .
