I’ve taken the basic self defense 3 times within the last 3 years, and I have learned something new each time! I feel much more confident about actually using the information I acquired. I also took keyslingers and loved that. Overall, I feel much more prepared to protect myself when needed! Also, Carrie is a real joy and made the classes a lot of fun!

I keep forgetting to make this review, but I'll tell you I never forget about the day I took the self-defense class. I got a key slinger that I hold in my hands whenever I'm out. I've learned a lot and I've benefited so much from this. I recommend everybody take this and bring your teenagers with you.!

My teenager and I both feel more comfortable after Carrie's excellent instruction on self defense and the keyslinger. I was so impressed that I just signed the whole family up for private instruction!

So my freshman daughter who is very tiny for her age and I took the key slinger. She asked if she could walk 2 miles to the high school with some friends. Knowing the training she has received I let her go as long as she carried her keys in her hand. Which she did. Made myself feel safer and her. Great training.

I would love to learn kempo, I'm somewhat disabled, but can still swing a stick, an throw a combination. But I'm older now, need to learn something new to use for my situation.

It was fun, more of a workout than I thought, but most importantly it was educating. I can now feel confident standing my ground and I know what my options are if I get into a dangerous situation. Thank you Carrie!
