I would give a zero review but that is not possible. The service provided by this company is the worst I have ever seen. I have been waiting for a refund for a cancelled policy for months. The latest was this email they sent me two days ago about the refund. "Per the carrier, the refund check was mailed on 11/07/2025 to 14710 US Highway 17, Hampstead, NC 28443. Can you please check?" I drove there to see what it was and found that the address is the Horizon Insurance building in Hampstead and they needed me to go there to check on it. It is now two days later (Dec 31st) and I have not heard any news from them regarding the check that was sent to their office. Total incompetence. Update 1/5/26: Email from horizon, "I have located your refund check. It was written out to you, but with Horizon's mailing address. It was erroneously included in Horizon's weekly deposit." The check was deposited to their account on 11/18 (well over a month ago).

I contacted Jarod in a panic after being notified that my home insurance had expired because my insurance company didn’t stay current with requirements. He took my information and got me an estimate the same afternoon, that saved me around $500 from my previous insurance companies price. By the end of the day he had all needed forms sent to me and had my insurance taken care of. He also contacted my previous insurance company for me to make sure everything was terminated there and switched over properly. What I appreciated most was the communication and clarification, which is too often difficult receive.
