I would love to share my excellent experience about the magical work of Dr. Jeffrey. In July I had tremendous pressure in my head . I went to general doctor, I had a lot of blood tests done, ended up in emergency room, done CT of my head, MRI of my brain, CT of my neck and head vessels. It was endless doctor appointments and nobody could help me. They just kept telling me everything is great but my pressure was growing every day and remained 24/7. My neurologist did not know what the next step was in diagnosing my condition. I also went to check my heart, ears, eyes, and teeth and nobody could find anything. After 4 months of struggling, spending tons of money and frustration I decided to go to chiropractor and thanks God I found Dr. Jeffrey Hoekstra. He is very professional, knowledgeable and has an awesome personality. After my first visit I felt a big relief. Dr. Jeffrey is amazing magical doctor. I would highly recommend him. He's an amazing person, very down to earth, professional, knowledgeable, caring with a great sense of humor. He is very accommodating. Doctor Jeff is a miracle worker because I come in nearly able to walk and leave out feeling like a new person. God has his eyes on Dr Jeffery.

I was in constant pain for over 3 years with pain levels as high as 9 on a scale from 1 a 10. Dr. H has ended that and I’m a new person. Happy and with 0 pain most days. With continued treatment my constant pain is a thing of the past. 👍🏽

Fast forward a year or so, and im now bed ridden from pain and addicted to Vicadin. my mother in a desperate need to help me called found a local chiropractor in the yellow pages(lol), Doctor Hoekstra, who got me in that day. She had to basically carry me to her van where i laid in the back until we got there. After my first session, not gonna lie, i felt like i got beat up. my muscles were sore but it was a new kind of pain. I took a nap when i got home but when i woke up i was able to sit up on my own and eat some food for the first time in more than a month. The Doc scheduled me for another appointment later in the week. so i went. and again i felt sore but not in a bad way. another nap afterward and this time i was able to get up out of bed on my own accord and go to the bathroom. By my 4th session i was walking again. by my 5th i was able to go back to work. That was 7 or so years ago now maybe more. Since then ive been seeing Doc Hoekstra and i havent had a backslide to the state i was in before. Not once. i didnt have insurance at the time either but he made it incredibly afforable for me. but honestly if he had charged me more i wouldve paid it and it wouldve been worth every penny. The man changed my life. he did what my family doctor couldnt. and in all reality he probably saved my life. i know this all sounds dramatic but its not even an exaggeration. i cant say what your experience with him will be like, I only know what my mine was like. -Peter Calvillo Less

Dr. Jeff provides outstanding chiropractic care. He's an expert who's knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Many a time I've limped in with back pain only to walk out feeling much better. And he's very flexible in that if you are in a health bind he can generally fit you in to see him. I've tried other chiropractors in the past and Dr. Jeff Hoekstra is the BEST!

I highly recommend Dr. Hoekstra, I remember the 1st time I went to him about 1 year ago I was so scared and in so much pain. He really takes his time with you. He’s knowledgeable and never in a hurry. His treatment always resolved the problem and reduced or eliminated the pain.

He makes you download/use an app to schedule appointments etc. Also, his hours are not very accommodating at all. Not to mention he forces his patients to listen to 90s alternative at obnoxious levels. Overall, I’d say get your chiropractic care elsewhere (because, chances are, his office is not open anyways!)

I have been seeing Dr. Hoekstra for about a month now for neck and shoulder pain. I always leave his office pain free and after a month my pain is substantially better.

Results are faster than expected. I highly recommend this practice. He explains everything on what is going on and got me all straightened out in no time. Thank you!

I went in yesterday because I was in so much pain from going to another chiropractor. I was able to get in and walked out feeling so much better. To day better and better. Can't believe how one adjustment could help so much. I read the previous reviews and can't imagine how those two bad one's got in there because my experience was wonderful

Very awesome and great place to go for back pain the treatmentswork especially the acne puncture along with the heat and a massage. The back great and then he uses byofrezz afterwards to in order to kind of loosen the muscles up an relieve pain dr. Dykstra is definitely an expert

I have been seen by Dr H for several years for lower back pain and bursitis. At times, I’ve barely been able to walk - the pain has been so great. Dr H’s treatment plan has always resolved the problem and reduced or eliminated the pain. He’s very personable and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.

If this place doesn’t define snake oil and witch doctor medicine I don’t know what does. “I don’t use xrays before adjusting” is one of the things I was told. I walked out feeling worse than I did before being seen at this establishment. Chiropractic medicine seems to be a murky area but if you’re going to go down that road do yourself a favor and try anywhere but here.

Dr Jeff let me and others come in outside of normal office hours to be help us out. He is a busy one man shop, but he is very personable and best of all he got me some some significant pain relief! I appreciate the electric stimulation and heat along with the adjustment. I love being able use stores in downtown Tinley!

Due to an insurance situation, I took a shot with Dr. Hoekstra's local practice. I found in my several visits that he has many varied tools to afford relief. Dr. Jeff raised some excellent points during treatment that made me better informed about my conditions. Bottom line: I have been feeling better and more stable since my sessions.

Dr. Hoekstra is great! He really takes his time with you, and you never feel like a number with him. He's knowledgeable and is never in a hurry! His practice in Tinley Park is right in the downtown area, so after you get an amazing adjustment, you can enjoy the downtown area too. :) I absolutely love Chiropractic care it's changed my life!

1.0 star rating 2/3/2016 First to Review He's nice, but treats every diagnosis the same; he's an ineffective chiropractor. He doesn't treat a patient to be comfortable long term. It's become evident to me that he treats just to make you comfortable for a short period because he wants you to continue to spend money on his treatment. Would not recommend.

Dr. Hoekstra provides chiropractic care for both my husband and I. He is incredibly flexible with appointment scheduling, and our treatment has been so beneficial that we drive an hour and a half (twice a week!) to see him.

Dr. Hoekstra, is not only a phenomenal doctor with a wealth of knowledge. He is that kind of doctor that will look you in the eye when talking to you. You never feel like just another patient.
