This is the best dentist office I’ve ever been to. They’re so gentle and knowledgeable about what they’re doing. The hygienist staff is amazing! I actually look forward to my visits which is usually not the case for a dentist, sorry guys! :) Professional, educated snd honest! I’ll never leave.

Had my first visit today at Glenbard Family Dental and they were the absolute best!! I was so nervous about my visit initially but they were very professional, friendly, informational and eased my nervousness. The entire staff was so polite from the front door to the back office. So glad i came across them!! They definitely gained a new patient.

My experience so far has been absolutely nothing but amazing. Started off as an emergency root canal that they did great work with. I would recommend to all my family and friends and we'll everyone else.
I had a phenomenal experience with Dr. Gierman and everyone in her office. I came in for some fillings and was nervous but the staff was lovely and everyone made me feel so calm and well taken care of. I even ended up having a wisdom tooth extracted and it was a pain and stress free procedure. I’ve found my new dentist and I couldn’t be happier!

I went to Glenbard Family Dental with an emergency cracked molar. I saw Dr Sweeney and he was very professional giving me multiple different options and pros/cons of each option. Dr Sweeney and his assistant did the procedure with minimal pain and they constantly checked in to ensure I was comfortable. Highly recommended.

I have been coming to Glenbard Family Dental for seven years now, and want everyone who is considering establishing himself/herself as a patient to know I've not seen this level of professionalism, friendliness, and competency at a dental clinic beforehand. Having moved many times within Illinois and within the country I've been to at least 12 other dentist offices in my life time--this one fulfills every expectation. I found them originally through my workplace's healthcare network and since have moved to Springfield (IL), yet am so satisfied by their supreme level of care that I drive three hours to each appointment! I switched my dental care about two years ago and have received excellent care at Glenbard Family Dental. The quality of their checkup and cleaning is more thorough than my last dental office. The doctors are kind, the hygienists are wonderful, and the front desk staff -top rate professionals! Hands down best place in town ! I have BIG... ok HUGE dental phobia and everyone there was so friendly , explaining it all .. even as I was verbalizing my anxiety , there was reassurance and asking how I’m doing.. giving me breaks, etc. I felt calm and assured I was in very capable hands. Long story short, I broke a tooth, called here and was able to be fit in later in the evening. I got there, filled out the paperwork and got in the chair. The wait wasn’t bad and they kept me updated on when the dentist would be in & made sure I was comfortable. When the dentist came in, she explained everything to me that was going to happen. Both my son and I have had great experiences here.

Glenbard Family Dental is great! I took my 16 month old son to them today for his first appointment. The staff we so sweet and flexible with him (hello toddler). They made the whole experience a breeze, from the receptionist getting him a toothbrush before he even went in to the room so he got excited, to the hygienist who made him laugh so she could see his teeth, we had such a good experience. My husband and I both see dentists with this practice and feel like we’ve had awesome care every time we go. My husband had his wisdom teeth done this past month here and the whole procedure was well done. As a special needs mother with a husband who travels often, I have had to cancel and reschedule way too many times! Really happy with Glenbard Dental. All three of my kids have had good experiences there. When my son needed a cavity filled they were able to for him in immediately so we didn't need to come back later. They made him feel so relaxed that he wasn't anxious over the procedure at all.

I had to get a permanent crown put in, and the dentist was nice and as gentle as he could be, but the dental assistant was pretty rough and careless. She scraped my gums when she was using suction, and on top of it she would hold the suction right by my throat causing me to gag and salivate a lot.
My family and I have been coming here for years. I have received excellent service and the staff is wonderful. They have hours to fit pretty much every schedule .
An office that pays people for their reviews doesn't seem very creditable. Never had been some where so unprofessional. Dr treats staff poorly. Better off finding a different office to help you with your dental needs.

I highly recommend this Dental practice. I have excessive bone growth inside my lower jaw which makes getting xrays difficult. 14 xrays yesterday were easy and done with one go. Reception is efficient from scheduling to insurance and payment. I've been going to this practice for 5 years.

My twin girls are almost 3 and had such a great experience at their last appointment. Last year was their very first dentist appointment and they wanted nothing to do with it. The heigenists and doctors were all so nice and understanding while my daughters kicked, screamed and refused to cooperate. This time around they did great and everyone was so encouraging.
I cracked a tooth on my lunch and the staff worked hard to fit me in the same day. The Dr. and staff were so understanding of my situation as I do not have Dental Insurance. I was always told I couldn’t have Invisalign but Dr. Gierman did it and I had amazing results. Love this practice! Everyone is super nice and they frequently ask if you are ok during the exam to ensure you are comfortable and not in any pain. My sons love picking out toys from the chest when we are done. Also love that they are being strict with CDC guidelines when it comes to COVID.

I cannot say enough about this particular facility. I have been a patient of Glenbard Family Dental since they were a much smaller office. In the years that I have been a patient, I have watched this office grow into a space that is welcoming, comfortable, and inviting. Yeah, I"m saying those things about a Dentist's office. I will specifically focus on Michelle and, reluctantly, Dr. Melissa Gierman (she is the Dentist, after all....) Michelle, is a staple in this office. I eat a lot of candy and I don't brush well. I'm hard on my teeth. Dr Melissa gierman is fake nice to patients because she wants your money, and dishes out terrible treatment towards staff. After being hired by the office manager michelle and working for glendbard aka fuse dental for a few months I was laid off by dr gierman. The reason? Apparently I did not do a good enough job assisting in cleaning the rooms and sterilization of the instruments which I had no training on. Now Here's the catch, I was hired to be an receptionist which I have 10 years background in, not dental assisting and was never told dental assisting would be a requirement for the position. She allowed me to play in patients mouths with no training because the office apparently is to busy for its own good. She unprofessionally yells at the workers like someone's angry baby momma right in front of patients. Things for me went down hill when I decided to stop wearing wigs and decided to wear braids which is my one of my culture most proudest hairstyles. Melissa gierman decided to make a very inappropriate statement about my hair being in braids. Apparently braids from my culture weren't seen as professional in her practice. I'm sure Her patients who gave nothing but compliments didn't feel the same way she did. Melissa should worry more about her attitude not being professional not someone's natural hair. I pursued unemployment which then Dr gierman turned around and lied and said I quit my job! Dr gierman runs a high school for snooty employees not a professional dental office and if you're not as stuck up as her and her minions then you won't make the cut. If you're a patient I'd take caution in the work this money hungry dentist says you need done. Word of advice, always seek a second opinion. Melissa fakes being nice towards her patients and All the long she sits in the back bad mouthing them all and disclosing patient information. So after months of going above and beyond my receptionist duties, working hard, not having proper lunches and being yelled at and insulted, having my intelligence insulted and being put down, I was laid off. I HAD decided not to seek any type of legal action against all the labor laws that go broken at this office. Like not having the state regulated lunch breaks for the amount of hours worked. I've gone 20 years with two flouride stains on my front teeth. I come to this dentist and she immediately asks if I want to get that removed. I went to three dentists about my worn down incisors -- they were getting really thin. Dr.Gierman was the only one who explained the cause of the problem and all the treatment options. I selected high noble metal crowns with porcelain in front, which she installed three weeks ago. She did an outstanding job, the crowns are very substantial, and they look great! If I had not seen Dr.Gierman I would have gotten ceramic crowns as a friend of mine did a few years ago. He bit into a hard piece of bread, broke the posts used to reinforce the teeth with ceramic crowns, and now has to get a bridge. It's sad but true that some dentists are more concerned with maximizing profits than they are with the well being of the patient. The hygienist and the front desk staff are also excellent.
