My sessions have been great. As a first timer at 48yo the instructors have been wonderful, very patient and understanding. They will also help to modify any activities due to physical limitations. My experience has been very welcoming by both instructors and students.
I have been to Gracie many times for events. The establishment is clean and the Professors care about their students very much.

Highest example of professionalism in BJJ I have experienced. The level of knowledge is demonstrated in their attention to detail of every technique. This gym prides itself on making everyone feel welcome and safe while training. Coaches and clients both are some of the most hospitable people in the game. Clean facilities and training environment. This gym it's so good, that the only reason I am not there is because I am relocating to Colorado Springs and if I could I would take this gym with me. The instructors and community of this gym is very special and I will miss it. I could only hope that in the future I may be able to visit.

Absolutely love it here. My boys have been taking classes since aug 2020, we love the coaches and atmosphere. I have seen great improvements in my boys since starting and don’t see them stopping any time soon.

Tough competitors, down to white belt, but I felt safe rolling with them. I was travelling Spirit airlines so I had minimal clothing with me, didn't bring a gi. They even loaned me a gi. Everyone was friendly to me. I don't see how you can go wrong training at Gracie Barra Columbus. The owner is very professional. All of the coaches are very helpful and everyone seems to want to help each other.
My kids have been going for 3 months and I have been going for 2. Professor Josh is great and works with all levels. Eveyone in the class is helpful and no one is out to hurt anyone. All the coaches and professors are extreamly professional. I highly reccomended everyone to try it out. 1st week was free. They have classes for all ages and all skill levels.

Great place to train at every age or skill level. Professor Josh and his coaches are professional and proficient, teaching at a high level from their vast experience in competition and day to day training.
