Our daughter spent a month at this preschool during our stay in NYC, and we couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. Ros, the owner, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and flexible — he made everything so easy for us. The teaching staff were wonderful as well: caring, attentive, and full of positive energy. Our daughter was always excited to go in the morning and came back smiling every day. We’re truly grateful and highly recommend this school to any family looking for a nurturing and joyful environment!

Our two children attended Learning and Fun for over a year. The teachers and Ros are extremely responsible and caring. Our children are invigorated and stimulated by the many social, educational and physical activities in the school.

Both of my sons went to LNF for two years. They had a great experience and I loved the mix of activities. The teachers are very warm and there are protocols in place (that are followed) for the day to run quite smoothly. It is a trustworthy family owned/run business. Ros is an easy-going, caring man with two sons of his own. My sons showed affection for their teachers. Recommend.

Learning and Fun Daycare has been a wonderful experience for our son and our family. We started there in January 2023 not knowing what to expect as we were returning from almost two years in France. It was also our son’s first experience being taught in English. And we were genuinely impressed with the quality and intimacy of care coupled with the dedication of the caregivers and managing staff. From the beginning, Ros was very engaged in making sure we felt comfortable and the teachers were incredibly gentle and devoted to the kids' wellbeing. We visited a number of daycares in Manhattan which we found underwhelming. This is not the case with Learning and Fun - once you get past the fact that the entrance is through a Ukrainian high school, the daycare classrooms themselves are fantastic: well-decorated, with a lot of natural light. And they have their own dedicated outdoor space with a play area, flower/vegetable garden and mini sports field. Every week they would have: specialized coaches come in for soccer and tennis; librarians from the local NY Public Library branch come in for special storytimes; and a musician called Mr. Ray come in for a music class - all of which our son adored. And I would also recommend the meal plan - it’s catered by the iconic Veselka’s restaurant and our son loved it. In short, we wholeheartedly recommend Learning and Fun!

We use this daycare as a drop-in service when visiting New York and it’s really fantastic. The staff is great and very accommodating. The space is really cute and spacious, including an outdoor play area. The meal plan is a huge plus. Highly recommend.

This learning and fun daycare where my child’s been having delightful time during the week with grateful teachers and other children in urban environment. My favorite parts about this place is variety of activity schedules for indoor,outdoor and receiving daily photo of my child. This daycare designates to age based educational curriculum. Therefore, My child is having classes appropriate for her age and development. We are glad to be a part of them.

We had a very positive experience using Learning and Fun as a backup daycare. My 4.5-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter attended random days in May and June 2023 when their program was closed. The tuition was very reasonable, and they were very flexible with the schedule and enrollment. The kids had a great time and were always smiling and having fun at pick-up. The teachers are very kind and attentive and the kids were learning about so many fun thing. I especially loved getting pictures of them during the day using the ‘brightwheel’ app. I also found that communicating with the owners- Ros and Oksana- was very easy. They were very responsive and helpful during the entire progress of signing the kids up and transitioning them there for backup care. I would highly recommend this daycare! My kids can’t wait to back in the fall 

I have been incredibly impressed with this school since my son started attending a year ago. The teachers are truly dedicated, excellent communicators, and show a lot of love and care towards the students. The nurturing environment they provide has been exceptional. The Jungle room (2s class) teachers have been instrumental in my son's development, and it's amazing to see how much he has grown under their guidance.The outdoor space, while not new, is still fantastic and provides a great area for the children to play and explore. I appreciate the school's effort in maintaining it well.I must mention that the school administrator could use more support as they seem stretched a little thin. However, despite this, I have not experienced any major issues or concerns.Moreover, my son has learned valuable habits like making his bed, dressing himself, and cleaning up after his toys, thanks to the teachers. They even successfully potty trained him!Overall, I highly recommend this school for its remarkable staff, nurturing atmosphere, and the excellent progress my son has made.

We are so pleased with Learning and fun day care, the staf is very knowledgeable and friendly, overall the admin is very professional.So much fun and learning for our todler, outdoor play, that is very clean and safe, and opportunities to learn soccer and tenis..., I mean what a wonderful place this is, and the classrooms are roomy with fun designs for kids and clean.Thank you Ros and Oksana for all you do....,it's been a great experience for us

Learning and Fun Preschool/daycare is an amazing program, great facilities, and I love the fact that they have their own large private outdoor space. Teachers are very pleasant and caring for children. My two twin sons are always engaged in various activities and fun learning experiences. We attended the program for two years since my children were 2 y.o. My wife and I are happy as we see fantastic growth and development in our children. Wonderful experience, strongly recommend to other families!

My little one has been going to learning and fun since he turned two. For the past three years, he has been through different classroom with several teachers and he has had such a great time. When he first started he could barely said a word as English was not used at our home, the teachers made the transition as smooth as it possibly could. Every teacher he encountered was kind, patient, and nurturing. The classroom was always welcoming, structured, and inclusive. Plus, this is the only daycare I'm aware of that has required dedicated indoor shoes, even before the pandemic! A deal breaker for me 😂The management team has been evolving and trying their best to communicate and work with the parents. During covid, they provided online learning modules during the lockdown and made their best effort to reopen as soon as they can. It has meant so much for the little one to have social interaction with other kids.Learning and Fun has been the first "society" in my little one's life and will always hold a special place in our family. I recommend it to any parents looking for quality early childhood education.

I can not say enough good things about Learning and Fun! Our 4 year old daughter has had an incredibly nurturing experience from A-Z. Ms. Anel runs a beautiful classroom where the children learn so much from her every week, having fun all the while. Her lesson plans are super organized and prepare them well for Kindergarten. And the kids stay so engaged because of her fun and interactive approach. Ms. Anel also taps in to the kids' creativity with the most inventive arts and craft projects that our daughter is always so proud of and excited to show to us! Lastly, birthdays and holidays are celebrated with amazing class parties that our daughter talks about for hours afterward! Oksana, the program director, has done an excellent job ensuring the safety of the teachers and children as best as possible, in order to keep the program open during the pandemic. We have seen our daughter flourish so much since starting at Learning and Fun, she loves her school and her teachers! We are so happy with her care and her education, especially at this affordable price. She is always engaged in meaningful play and she is excited to return to school each day. We especially love their use of the Brightwheel app to send us up to the minute notes, pictures, and videos of our little one learning and having fun.
