Lakeshore Tae Kwon Do has supported our family In big and small ways for roughly 8 years now.There's no venue that I've seen extracurricular enrichment-wise in our area that stays with a child throughout the duration of his or her developmental years (and long-term into adult life) and that so consistently and meaningfully affords an environment and community that focuses on the collective ongoing development of one's physical, mental and emotional knowledge skills and abilities as I've seen here in this martial arts setting.The school has been foundational in supporting our home-based education, growth mindset and character building efforts around the virtues of and Martial Arts tenants specific to courtesy, integrity. perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit -- all of which have made all the difference for the boys navigating their own past and present major life challenges.Lakeshore Tae Keon Do Is the premier Martial Arts school in our area with having been in existence for well over 40 years now. Even covid wasn't successful at taking them down In the end. The school has been and remains a community resource beyond measure.We will be forever grateful for it being one of the foundational rocks that has supported our family's journey through the roughest, and also most joyful, times yet to-date. One of our oldest enrolled in this school back when he was 5. He's now 11 and still very excited to be going to classes. For him, these classes helped him gain a confidence that this shy child who feared talking to strangers lacked back then. Now he has friends in this class and he is a leader in his classroom.We now have a second kid enrolled. Our concern for him is focused on learning to respect and respond appropriately to authority outside the home. We've already seen improvements for him as well and he has been enrolled for less than a year.The leaders are effective and caring teachers who are focused on helping your child excel. I can't recommend them more highly.

Lakeshore Taekwondo has been a part of our life for six years and we couldn't be happier. They have taught our daughter so much. My boys have had a truly awesome experience at Lakeshore Tae Kwon Do the last 5 1/2 years. They have grown tremendously under the teaching of Master Weber, Ms. Cogswell, Ms. Peltier, the other black belts, and fellow students in general. I highly recommend enrolling your child at Lakeshore TKD to develop not only physical strength and discipline but also leadership skills, motivation, confidence, and the ability to achieve Black Belt and beyond which is an honor of a lifetime!

My daughter is truly enjoying classes at Lakeshore Tae Kwon Do. The leadership of Master Weber, Ms Cogswell, Ms Peltier & the other black belts that help the newer students & lower belts is top notch. You couldn't ask for a better group of role models. All the students are friendly and helpful as well. No student gets left behind. The students all go out of their way to help each other out & they always embrace the new students. My daughter was super nervous when she first started. That all went away after the first class. Everyone was very welcoming. If you're on the fence about becoming a part of this school like my daughter was you should definitely try Lakeshore Tae Kwon Do out. You will not be disappointed!
