I've really enjoyed this guitar class. The structure of each session is excellent, and the lessons cater to different ability levels by offering variations of the exercises and songs, so everyone can learn at their own pace.My favourite part is the jamming element. It makes the classes a lot of fun while also helping me develop important skills like playing along with drums, listening for cues, and improving my timing.What I appreciate most is that the lessons go beyond simply teaching songs. The instructor explains the techniques behind what we're playing, including how and why they're used, which has helped me better understand the music rather than just memorise it. I've also received direct feedback on my playing style and been given specific things to work on between classes, which has made my practice much more focused and helped me improve more quickly. It's been especially valuable for building the confidence and skills to jam with other musicians.

It’s been really good to see progress in myself with playing guitar. As a beginner, the lessons are enjoyable and keep me accountable. Have learnt how to tune a guitar, learnt about palm muting, and am now able to find and play chords on the guitar. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made with the help of Kitchen Jam.

Kitchen jam has been amazing for my son. He was new to guitar when he joined and it’s given him a huge amount of confidence with it, despite being the least experienced in his group. They play a new song every session and everyone plays to it at their own level with lots of support from Dan their teacher.

Loving my guitar lessons with Kitchen Jam! Dan’s a great teacher, who’s very quickly able to identify your playing level and offer practical tips and advice to improve your playing. Really like how lessons are focused around using songs to improve your music theory understanding and musicianship. It’s a great way to learn and everything feels focused on giving you practical applications for the theory as well as getting you comfortable playing with other people.
