If you’re one edge about signing up for lessons there, do not think twice! The classroom setting works very well for me. At the start of each lesson, the tutor writes some practice material on the whiteboard (with varying levels of difficulty to cater for all skill levels), and students get some tome to practice this. Meanwhile, the tutor will walk around, answer questions and tailor suggestions to students. Being offered tea/coffee during the morning lessons is a very unique/nice touch! Prior to joining this school, I learned most of what I know through online resources (free and paid), with the odd lesson here and there. But I have made more progress than ever after starting the lessons at Guitar Tuition East London. Dan is my teacher, and he is excellent as he understands my goals, and he tailors his teaching accordingly. In fact, the whole team there is great. My band mate and I have been playing together at open mics for 4 years. Our previous guitar teacher taught us loads of technical stuff but not how to apply it to our playing so we'd reached a stage where we wanted to improve our playing and make our performances more interesting but didn't know how to go about it.
