I’ll start out by saying I had very little fitness experience or knowledge about exercise before joining and the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. Anyone at any fitness level can come here to get in shape. You can tell the entire coaching staff is passionate about helping people. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

They also discussed with me the importance of a meal plan and the coaching I would receive once I started. So I gave it a shot and after the 9 private sessions and now going to classes regularly, working with incredible coaches, and using the EASIEST meal plan ever created I can say that after 4 months I have lost 40 pounds, added muscle, I don’t snore AT ALL, and actually look forward to going to gym for the first time in my life. This Gym is very clean and well kept. Tara and Doug are great at what they do. I participated in the weight loss challenge and lost 20 Lbs in 4 weeks. This program really works and is easy to follow. The workouts are intense and very effective.

Crossfit South Shore has been life changing for me. It is impressive to be working out at this level at my age (43). Best part of the gym is the coaches. Many people fear Crossfit, but when coached and taught properly the movements are done safely. Keeping track of my progress daily allows me to compete with myself and watch my growth. One of the best things I've even done, was to commit to the six week challenge... This is how to reverse aging! I am 53 and have lead a sedentary life for the past 15 years. 9 months ago I was out of breath climbing stairs and my knees would hurt. Now I can run up multiple flights with energy and pain free. The workouts and training are hard, but are scaled to your ability. Just completed 6 week challenge! The coaches made it fun while challenging me. I appreciated the continual instruction and encouragement throughout the workout. Looking forward to continuing what I started.

Good crossfit place, has tons of equipment. Only downside was that it was too far away from me. Otherwise great place.
