My 11 month German Shepherd puppy had been displaying some reactive behavior towards strangers and other dogs, it was becoming unpleasant and embarrassing taking her for walks, I knew I needed help. I have some experience in training but due to my busy schedule I was looking for someone to take the reins. I have dealt with Spot On before and felt comfortable reaching out to Shannon’s team. After a careful and thoughtful discussion and a meet and greet, she trained Siggy for 3 weeks. During which, I was updated daily with texts and videos which were so wonderful to get. I can say that Siggy has tremendously improved in that she does not bark and react nearly as much, I feel less anxious taking her out in public, she is less agitated and calmer at home, and after a coaching lesson with Shannon at the end of her 3 weeks I feel happier and confident now that I have some basic tools to reinforce and build on with her on my own. It’s been the best decision to hire Shannon to lay that foundation that Siggy needed for me to build on. I felt entirely comfortable having Shannon in my home and trusting her with my puppy. Shannon’s wealth of knowledge and attention to detail is impressive. She extremely perceptive and she takes her time with you, I never felt rushed or nervous, she is worth every penny. Spot On was where we took our pup for his first training classes. They were perfect for our needs; small class sizes, plenty of personal space for each dog to use, great communication from the instructor both during class and via email. I've known Shannon for more than a year since Taiyo was puppy. My journey with Taiyo was so dynamic. He was diagnosed 'Hyper Reactive' . Before diagnosed, after diagnosed, and even now Spot On Dog is always part of our journey. Taiyo and I both struggled, but now we are very happy camper! We enjoy so many things everyday. We've came a long way it is because of Shannon was always there to support. I would be lost without her support. I do know Spot On Dog will never disappoint you. The team Spot On Dog will guide you to build strong bond with your fur baby no matter what type of dog you have. Make sure your dog is happy, and YOU are happy. We LOVED working one-on-one with Shannon with our new puppy! We learned invaluable things and left with a great training plan for our dog. Having the one-on-one time was extremely helpful and allowed us to ask specific questions and work on skills we wanted to focus on.
