I learned she was now teaming with Jake Ralston. I made the decision to list with Kelly and Jake. Me being an out of the area owner, Kelly and her husband Steve spent several hours cleaning up the house and yard, at their own expense of time and money, making it much more presentable than ever before. Jake and Kelly came up with a detailed marketing plan, including a virtual tour with drone video and weekly Open Houses, and we put the house on the market within a few weeks of signing the listing agreement. Jake and Kelly spent many hours promoting and showing the house. We had more activity in the first weekend than I had in six month with my previous listing agent. It didn't take long before the buyers were identified, however, the buyers owned multiple properties already and they wanted to sell one of them before buying my house. Jake and Kelly assisted with a nine month lease purchase option, which netted them zero commission until the house actually sold, but they felt it was the right strategy.
